She was thrown away by her biological "mother", in a very horrible way, true. However she was saved by the society, by her Motherland. She had great care in the orphanage and the worker who helped her with her physical therapy ended up adopting her. Her Motherland and her real (adopted) mother love her deeply and take care of her.

I love how she never copies a cover she always makes it her own.

Must check out "Human" to hear deep for a majority of the song. She said it's the easiest song for her to sing. I'm told she's a dramatic contralto....quite rare. Also "Rechenka" for her dramatic performing.

Great reaction! When comparing Diana to Dimash, you have to remember that Dimash is 9 or 10 years older than Diana. Not to mention that Diana was 15 when she performed "Wicked Game." I agree that Dimash is arguably the best current singer in the world. But, he is in his prime, and Diana is a teenager who is still developing vocally. I can't wait to hear her in 3 to 4 years from now.

I was beginning to wonder when you would discover Diana....glad you finally did! She's just as gifted as Dimash, except that her vocal talents run in the opposite direction; range-wise, that is.

Hi! She is 14 and 15 years old in these performances. She is under 18, minor in most of the videos since she have just turned 18 this May. The early applaud and vote was to give her more confidence and support in this kid show, where most kids come, sing a funny songs while sailors dancing around them and things like that. Some do try to sing seriously, they do well, but of course aint perfect in their technique, got lot to learn. Then Diana entered, with unique voice, temper and singing technique you have just witnessed. At Dernier Dance when they first saw her they realized how skillfull and unique she is, in all other performances the professional crew gave her chance to shine. And she took it. Igor Krutoy is a Russian billionaire. He had been retired from the music industry (composer and performer and producer - kind of like the Russian David Foster) before Dimash caught his ear and they began collaborating. The program that this came from is for underprivileged youth to compete in Russian. Diana was I believe 14 or 15 when she competed and won this program. One of my favourites by Diana is Rechenka - absolutely stunning. Igor has invested in the youth and sponsored Diana after this program and bought her an apartment in Moscow to help her pursue her career. She had been abused by her biological mother. She has an adoptive/foster family that has been very supportive since she was younger. She is still quite young - maybe 18 or 19 now? Now imagine if we could convince Diana and Dimash to duet?! :)
