Art can be a great way to instantly affect the emotions of the community. Creating vibrant artwork with an incredible narrative is just one part of the Absolute Equality mission. Follow along as Founder Reginald Adams, local artists, and Capital One Café Ambassadors painted murals in Houston and Detroit, as part of the 2023 Absolute Equality Juneteenth mural painting project, which also took place in Chicago, Dallas, Miami, and Philadelphia.
The six artists and teams worked to tell the story of the fight for freedom through a local perspective, and these murals will continue to push local communities to reimagine the role of public art in telling the heritage of American history.
