    Hi, I am happy with the powerdics, jsut changed my first set of pads and it's barely worn so it should last very long. Don't know about Zimmerman but I've heard good feedback. If you want to keep your rims as clean as possible and have a less incisive braking but more endurant, the combination of ATE Powerdisc and ATE ceramic pads is pretty good to me. I've done a lot of mountain road and towed a caravan in these same roads, never had any fading ! And those pads leave very little dust.

    Ive just bought a bmw E90 - 320D its fine most of the time, however at a steady rep of 1500/1900 it judders and almost breeaks then the traction light comes on and it seems ok again... could this be the abs sensor ? or the reluctor rings

    Good question, I'm not qualified enough to tell you but it could come from the sensors. Replacing them would be a first not too expensive job to seen if the problem is solved or elsewhere.

    Follow the cable of the other sensor, they into a small box compartment together.

    Thanks for the video. What were your symptoms other than code? Losing power? Did you use a diagnostic tool to figure out which sensor? Year? Model? please.

    My pleasure ! I had a lot of warning lights, ABS,DTC, tire pressure... All these problems can come from a faulty ABS sensor, but also if the battery is too weak. My car is a 2006 330i.

    If it is just a magnet - how does it go faulty?

  • @fab-b9818

    @fab-b9818

    Good question ! I am no expert but I think it can go faulty if there is too much gunk between the sensor and the target, or if the connection is oxidised or dirty. Before replacing them I think a good clean up can solve the problem.

    Anyone can do that ! I have heard that as well. What I can't understand is - can magnetic waves not go through the dirt?

  • @fab-b9818

    It's not a very powerfull magnet so if there is too much dirt and grease in between I guess it can be less efficient.
