This is fantastic. I thank God for Voddie Baucham. His exposition brings so much understanding, and I'm grateful he refuses to ever back down on what the Bible teaches.

Voddie does a good job of painting a black and white picture of truth and false teachings of the "word of faith"/"prosperity gospel" movements. Praise be to God and our Lord Jesus Christ for true Christians like him, RC Sproul, John Macarthur, Paul Washer, Alistair Begg, Chuck Smith, John Piper and others. Thank you for the upload GfBC.

He does have a tendency to bury the lead in a way that makes me stop what I’m doing and go, “Huh!?” Love this series.

Romans Ch 3 verses 27 thru Romans ch 4:15 sermon is missing. I am following the series , for my Bible study. Is there one and I am not seeing it? This series is so good. It is helping me so much .

The teaching that sinners are "Justified" by "faith alone", in an UNBIBLICAL HERESY! Jesus' first words in the Gospel of Mark, are, " and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” (1:15). Note, REPENT from your sins, and FAITH. At the end of His Ministry on earth, Jesus says clearly "and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem" (Luke 24:47. Original reading) Peter's first sermon in Acts chapter 2 says, that when those who heard him, and were "cut to the heart (convicted by the Holy Spirit, see also John 16:8-10)", they said "what must we DO". Peter does not say, "DO nothing", instead, "“Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit" (verses 37-38). REPENT for the FORGIVENESS OF YOUR SINS" in 2 Corinthians 7:10, Paul says, "For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death" There is NO salvation that does not include REPENTANCE BEFORE the sinner is saved

Voddie teaches repentance is necessary for salvation. Just not perfect obedience as Arminians do.
