My Mom died when I was four and my Dad was no where for me nor were any relatives to look after me. It turned out be a wonderful gift that enabled me to be who I am today at 93. It's been an awesome journey without anyone who told me what I wasn't allowed to do! Can you just imagine that kind freedom all your life. I feel so very special and blessed. Gratitude in spades!!

Everything always works out for me...even tho my mother left me when I was 3 months old, at a friend's house and never came back. I went from foster to foster and group home to group home. But I was always safe. I don't know what it feels like to have parents or siblings. I used to think something was wrong with me because other kids were told to stay away from me by their parents. I chose this life to see how strong I could really be. I've come out of some pretty hard life experiences, smiling and shining. No regrets.

I had a pretty bad childhood. There were a lot of deaths and neglect. My sister was born when I was 6. She died from lukemia when I was 14. I was her bone marrow donor. Her body rejected it and passed shortly after. In those years I was home alone alot. Mom and dad both at the hospital. I taught myself to cook and look after myself. I went to the park alone, swimming alone, bike rides alone... Everything alone. When she passed and I was 14, they barely noticed I existed. I started working at 15. I became very independent. I am now 36 and have 6 beautiful children under 12yo. I love them with all my heart. It made me stronger then most.

My 6 year old tells me alll the time she choose me! She said she and her sister were electric ⚡️ energies n there was a lot of moms & dads to pick from. She said she picked one before me but quickly canceled Bc there was something bout me . I had perseverance and she needed that for her life.. her & her sister are 7.5 years apart. It’s mind blown 🤯❤️🖤 IM honored to be their moms

i kno this is silly, but when i was a kid my mom would say, your not allowed to get sick, or your not allowed to get hurt. And if we said something negative my grandma would say "cancel cancel cancel", and believe it or not i havnt even had a cold in 10 yrs (im 22) and if there is something that i don't agree w in my life i cancel it and move on to higher vibrations, and i have always lived in comfortable abundance, thats whats so great about Abraham reaching out to others about these things

raddwest it’s not silly although some may think so. That’s a great way to be raised, not wanting anything bad to happen to the point of refusing to be negative, that’s what it was, it’s a better way of living. I’d rather live that way but And you may find the law of attraction theory interesting. It’s basically what you said and applies to wanting good things too

well then i must elaborate that if i was sick, my mom taught me to fill my cells with joy and white light to "repair" any type of sickness, always works for me!

I actually “chose” cancer & a dysfunctional family and even though it was very, very...VERY difficult, it made me who I am today. I can honestly say that I learned so much from those experiences! Now, don’t get me wrong...sometimes I wish I could have...or, would have chose an easier path but I also realize that I wouldn’t have had all those wonderful & as you say, contrasting experiences! Alas, I continue to climb!

How you "chose" cancer? That would be silly for anyone to choose a illness if that magnitude. So everyone walking around that has cancer chose cancer..or chose to die from tbat deadly disease. My sister died from breast cancer and I am heartbroken because of it. You tell me she chose cancer?

Its not that I am making bad choices its that I'm not in alignment with the good choices that are really who I am! Love that.

When I was three yrs old, I said at the dinner table, "Why did I choose to be with this fukken up bunch of cvnts?" Exception of my dad

I was at this workshop and I cannot tell you how much this question and answer has helped me understand so many things. I can honestly say that my life changed immediately after hearing this response. Awesome stuff!! I thanked the lady that asked this question in the restroom!

I was gonna go to see Abraham Feb.15 but changed my mind. Instead I went home and spent the day with my husband. 4 days later he died out of town unexpectedly. I'm glad to have that day.

This is absolutely the way I remember coming into the world choosing my parents. My guides wanted me to wait for different parents. I was so anxious to come I said I want to come now what's available. They showed me and I picked my parents. And I remember doing this. No one can tell me any different.

Since I was 10 years old I would say the name of my son, it would just come to me now and then and I would be flooded with a sense of love. It happened over the span of years, but I never made the correlation he would be my future son. When I was 24 he was born and I understood. He later told me that he chose me to be his mum because he liked my voice!

If we have not experienced ‘moments of complete & utter passion, or a moment of joy, being happy, receive & give love (to everything), if fortunate ‘bliss’..? we may not ‘resonate or connect’ with the essence of what is being said here.! I believe, we bring every experience ‘good & not so good’ into our existence.. This is intelligence on a whole-NEW level (this century) We are being offered this ‘message of support’ from a source energy that none of us totally undersatnd. it feeds me.. absolutely love Abraham-Hicks.. I practice Meditation, definitely helps to relax the mind, thru breathing (up to 1hr).. I feel more open & receptive to more wonderful experiences, more friendships (I asked for, and manifested), more ‘wow’ moments (I know I manifested), more ‘peace, calm, relaxed energy within ‘me’ (I consistently practice, and want to come into my experience), Gratitude, Thankfulness, and Appreciation.. daily practice, can be done all day, maybe do a few times a day, write it down.. just start..! if practiced.. life will start to be better..

"What was I thinking!" lol - Mercy! I did, do adore my grandmother - maybe we skip a generation! Ha! People get all these things bc of the result of sin and this cursed world. God is sovereign over absolutely everything, and every decision is according to His will and desire.

You CHOOSE-- and in your choice you have so much agency. And since your choice was/is your choice, there must be something very good about it. But, since it is your choice, any pitfalls must be your fault. This is a fantastic way to mollify an entire society. Congratulations. The bottom line is, we don’t have to change anything to make it equitable. We don’t have to protect the weak or monitor the reach of the strong because everyone CHOOSES. It’s a brilliant system. And those who lose, actually win because they manifest their choice. Really it’s lovely (sarcasm)

Yes, I have questions, too. I don’t think children choose to be victims of abuse, for example. If we can all have, do or be anything we want, what about those who want to exterminate entire nationalities; what about serial killers who want to torture and murder. Does Abraham say they “manifested” that? Did the victims “choose” to be victims?

If you get closure from believing people who claim to know the answers by using the supernatural then thats your choice. Just remember that great claims require greater evidence & not just hearsay! How can we have proof of the super natural? Only science has that on offer but doesn't have any answers concerning our deepest life questions and desires. Of course, you always have to be cautious. But you can recognize the good teachers by their results, that is something you can choose carefully and wisely.

1:20 - Why would the universe make your worst nightmares come true? I would like to understand why things work how they work. If attraction law is a law just like gravity for example, i find very dificult to understand why this "system", this world we live in, works like that. Who would design a system where when you want/dont want something, you are actually offering a opposite vibration of what you want. When you want something, you will get the opposite. This is sick. I am not here to fight, I would honestly like to understand.

Your misinterpreting the message. What you want, and what you don't want isn't as important as being thankful for what you have, and how you feel. When your thankful, show gratitude, meditate and you feel good, your in alignment. The universe has no choice but to present you with good circumstances, and the things you"want". Imagine yourself as already having those things, and enjoying those things/ circumstances all the time even though you don't physically have them. It's called being in alignment and it's a wonderful feeling, especially when the tables start to turn. Best of luck on your journey and I hope this helps!

I get what you mean by sort of "focus on what makes you happy to attract more", yes. But for me is clear what she said at 1:20. "...People choose to get sick - They dont want it but they look at them..." How the hell... You think about something bad and the universe will make it happen? Why would you be punished for thinking about something? When I was young my mother always said "you will harvest tomorrow what you planted today..." but according to what I get here, even if you try to be a "good" person, bad things will still happen to you, if you think about them. Andre Luiz that's exactly why I always expect the worst so when things happen I'm not disappointed. So if I want to win the lottery I will get instead something that breaks down on my vehicle or my home? Then after that happens I'm supposed to be thankful for that? Interesting prespective Mike. I think it's VERY possible. In fact I call my higher self (and other beings claiming to be wise) retards or c*nts. Because how can you claim wisdom and not aid people in the face of pain? I think our higher selves know love and take the plunge into these lifetimes as us.........for whatever reason forgetting we are multidimensional higher beings is part of the game.........and then our 3d self is left to make choices down here.............and those choices actually feed into the Higher Self. Our souls have no human preferences....by defintion, since they aren't human. But we are.

Makes me wonder what the other choices were, sounds like someone made me an offer I couldn’t refuse
