ABR 2023 Bridgestone Trail

A very basic edit of the Adventure Bike Rider Festival 2023 Bridgestone Trail. This was shot on the Friday morning around 9:30am start time.
Whenever I pasted a bike I left it in the edit in case it's you, so look out if you were on the trail around that time.
I did also do the TRF trail and the link for that is here...

Proper job! Nice video, good chat 👍. You proved momentum is your friend on the mudslide 🤘. I was a Friday arrival, they shorted that section out by the time I was on the trail 10ish Saturday.

That bloody mud where the GS almost stacked it, is exactly where my front tyre decided it didn't want to keep grip anymore. Like riding on ice is an understatement. I was one of the newbies, not with the correct tyres (on 80/20 to road). I found me as well, to the start, where ya accidently went onto the beginner loop. I was the tiger ya caught up to. This year, going again, but, going to actually have 50/50s on. The battleaxes that they recommend. I'm glad I didnt do that muddy way though. Especially with the bad choice of tyres. Also, thanks for being one of the more respectful experienced riders, dealing with us, all the gear people.

Nice one, a shining example of how the trail should be ridden. Very courteous and cautious around other riders. 👏Thanks for sharing Charlie.

Thank you, nothing worse than feeling intimated while your only giving something a go.

It was so slippy on the Friday morning that on my first ride on the Ducati Desert X, I stacked it and deployed my air vest. Next time I'll just wear body armour.

Thank you, I’ve had it for a few years now. Still got a lot to learn and there are many times when all i’m doing is just hanging on haha

Dumb question, but how did you answer without taking yoiur hands off the bars? I've just got a Sena and can't see how to do that :)

Sometimes you can set it to auto answer or say hello. I may have answered it with my hand very quickly and just cut that bit out. I can’t remember right now to be fair.

I’m new to off road riding and went to the ABR 23 for the first.. I found it all very daunting and was lacking a lot of confidence.. It’s a shame when you get Marshall’s and other riders being unsupportive of new riders to the sport . “All the gear and no idea” doesn’t help anyone!!!!! Personally I would be more worried if newbies were riding with poor equipment…for their own safety and others. Surely new riders should be welcomed and helped by more the experienced…. And help the sport grow safely

I think new riders are welcomed at ABR and most people are helpful and supportive. I helped a few people out over the weekend and always gave riders space if I passed them. The guy I was talking about didn't look like a newbie at all! In fact, my first impression was he was a pro rider it’s not that common to ride a T7 or similar in mostly Motocross gear unless you have some off-roading background. Also tell me what new rider isn’t all “all the gear, no idea”? Because I have been that guy at least twice. Once when I first started riding road and again when I started my off-road riding. No idea = newbie that then learn over time. W all start From nothing and work ourselves up to at least some idea.

Good video. Given me the best idea of what to expect at the trail. Good pace on you along with polite passing. Very good. I'll be going round on my adventurised Kawasaki ER6F 😂. See you there in June... This year?
