Both the STOMP Out Bullying Program and its Annual WORLD DAY OF BULLYING PREVENTION initiative bring awareness and education to kids, teens, parents and schools about the issue of bullying. It offers hope for students who experience the harmful effects of bullying, both personal and online. Teachers and parents are taught to keep an open line of communication with their kids to identify the signs before they get worse. Across the country, school administrators who have long swept this issue under the rug are educated to take the matter more seriously. Funds raised for the campaign go towards helping kids in need and at risk of suicide, in-school education, public awareness, a dedicated website, and materials to assist bullying and cyberbullying prevention education and peer mentoring in schools. Monthly Anti bullying activities are also conducted to strengthen awareness to help end the pervasive bully culture.
