About San Diego: When The Streetcar Ran To Balboa Park
There was a time when San Diego’s light rail system included a run from Downtown to Balboa Park. It was a convenient and speedy way to travel to the centerpiece of our city. We go back for a look.

Ride and relax!!!
I lived at Richmond and Upas Sts. I'd walk east on Upas to the trolly stop, catch it and ride down (.05 cents) to the Prado. Get off, ride the Carousel and the Rotary Airplanes. 1945-49. Rode the # 7 Trolly to North Park daily too.
Bringing back a trolley on park ave and contining down El Cajon along the 215 bus route is is a no brainer. Trains should go where people actually live and want to go, not along freeways where the desination is square miles of parking lots and more roads.
