While I'm sad that Kalidia has come to an end, the music will live on. Music has a lot of power, when I was in a bad place in my life music helped me more than I can describe. Kalidia was the band I was listening to the most at that time. Thank you Nicoletta and rest of the band for music you shared with us. Can't wait for the new band to release music.

I'm sorry to hear that Nicoletta. I loved this band, especially the Lies' Device album. Dollhouse and Black Magic my absolute favourites. I could easily imagine music videos for both of those songs. Music lives on though, it is immortalized for all time. It's a blessing to have been part of following the Kalidia journey. Wishing you and the guys well on this new band. Maybe you will play some Kalidia live together at some point for some lucky fans.

Hi Nicoletta. I'm kind of late to the party here. I had heard about the disbandment of Kalidia sometime in early Spring of last year. I must have missed this video update as I was reminded to subscribe to the new band page Alterium by my colleague John recently. He's also a huge fan of yours, and introduced me to Kalidia and WID many years ago. I also found your interview with Jasper recently and I left some flatting comments about your talent on his channel. I remember when I was working to organize a European production trip for a streaming TV show I worked on in late 2018 -19 with the producer John. You were one of the bands we planned on highlighting with some streaming promotions as we were supposed to tour and promote European metal / power metal in 2020. We all know what happened that year. Unfortunately the show didn't survive the lockdowns, as it relied on live performances and band interviews. John was telling me that he was trying to put together a new project promoting the European metal scene. So perhaps we'll see you guys sometime this year. He just has to get through a busy Winter / Spring working on projects for Netflix first. I'm happy to see you still working with Paulo and Dario. I wish you guys much luck. I love what I've seen from you guys so far. Ottima musica per le orecchie!

Looking forward for the new project.

It is shocking for me and sad to see that Kalidia is disbanded :( This band was one of the top 5 Symphonic HM bands. (although I think you classify it as Power HM). I was actually trying to find out about any live gigs or perhaps if you were to participate in some concerts such as big European Rock concerts etc. I am impressed that you Nicoletta are associated with 2 bands and single performing songs. So now another band to come. I wish you all the luck and believe it will be amazing and looking forward for the new album. Keep up the hard and good work! 🤘

I just bought 2 albums of Walk in Darkness and it led me here. Sad that Kalidia stopped, but great that you were able to create a new band. I respect your willpower in the situation, and it's so good to see someone driven by passion for music and art

Sad to hear about Kalidia but once it stops being fun and enjoyable that would likely reflect in the music so no point holding on too long. We'll still follow you through thick and thin with Walk In Darkness, Erinyes, solo and the new band and whatever else you may do. Keep on rocking (and being a gamer geek).

I wish you all best! You've all done brilliant work in the past and the music is still with us. Not only from Kalidia, but from other bands or "projects" as well. Personally I like Walk In Darkness the most, and whatever the name of band is - there is your voice! :D It may be emotionally hard for you, but sometimes people have different visions and it's a part of life. It's not a bad thing - it's just a part of evolution.

They are still on KZread and Spotify. The memory will always be there. We can still love and enjoy songs from Kalidia and as long that still exist Kalidia is never gone. The band members ain't gone. And whatever next band you part You will always be a great singer and great people that make such great songs. I have frozen throne CD in my bag and I play it for my taxi drivers when going to work and home and they really love Kalidia. I love all the songs, ya'll are so fantastic and I hope the next band is just as amazing! :D Amethyst is my favorite song but I love all of them just as much and I continue listen to them so they at least alive and I share with all my friends about it. With Frozen Throne in my bag I will spread your songs. Sweden supports you at least me! I been in Sicily once at Palermo and I wish I could met you guys there. It was few month back to Sweden when I discovered you guys and I bought Frozen Throne immediately and been listen to you guys ever since. I wish the best for you Nico and never give up. :D There ppl reacting to you guys and they having a great time doing it. Warm love from Sweden and kalidia will be my favorite band from Italy for sure! ^^

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of power metal. I love Walk In Darkness on the other hand. But I promise to listen to the new stuff of your new band and give it a chance when it comes out.

i almost cried whatching this, because when i discovered kalidia i really beleved that they could keep for a long time together, but i´m really happy to know that there´s new project comming.

La vita è un cerchio, un lutto da un lato e una rinascita dall'altro, non è mai tutto buio e sicuramente dire addio ad un progetto caro non preclude il successo di un progetto nuovo, soprattuto se ci si mette il cuore. Il dolore per ciò che si lascia c'è, c'è anche l'amarezza ma bisogna staccare la spina per avere la spinta giusta e rinascere e rinnovarsi al meglio. Bisogna sempre cogliere l'opportunità e il lato positivo anche a fronte di un progetto ormai concluso. Non vedo l'ora di ascoltare la nuova band e il suo album d'esordio. :)

This is sad news. I prefer Kalidia to Walk in Darkness & The Erinyes, from what I've heard. I have both Kalidia albums, plus Circle of Six. Great stuff! From this video, it seems like the new band might not be that much different to Kalidia. If so, that'll be a nice silver lining! 🤞🙂 Looking forward to the new album!

you still look sad but you shouldn't. If you made a decision after much thought, then you can rest assured that you did everything you could. The rest no longer depends on you. Scusami Nicoletta una domanda, ma i Walk in Darknes che fine hanno fatto? Canti ancora con loro? Spero proprio di sì perchè la tua splendida voce condita con la loro incredibile bravura musicale mi ha sempre fatto impazzire, avete suonato delle canzoni meravigliose che mi hanno sempre fatto venire i brividi e spesso avevo difficoltà a staccare la spina, avrei voluto continuare a sentire la vostra musica per ore ed ore senza smettere mai. Spero comunque che l'avventura che stai per intraprendere con la tua nuova band sia altrettanto meravigliosa come lo è stata fino ad ora e continui a darci piacere come quando cantavi con i Kaldia e i Walk in Darknes. Se potessi darmi una risposta (anche solo poche parole per sapere se i Whalk in Darknes esistono ancora oppure no) te ne sarei infinitamente grato, un bacio ed un forte abbraccio.

Ok, this video still left me more than a doubt rather than solving the ones I already had about Kalidia disbanding and Nicoletta already founding a new band along with Kalidia's drummer and some other musicians that I would like to know how could she find them that fast and found a new band along with them but whatever.......EGOS!.......I guess there's not anything else to say right?, it is what it is and we just have to accept it we like it or not.

If you listen to the video, you understand that Kalidia disbanded in October 2022, actually it was Oct 1st, 2022. And I founded the new band in late December 2022, with 2 former Kalidia members and 2 new musicians, friends of mine. I had copyrights on 7 songs out of Kalidia third album so it was easy to finish the album in 6 months.

@@NicolettaRosellini yeah but why announce that you all parted ways regarding Kalidia?, what happened?, does that mean that what was originally planned to be Kalidia's third album, actually is going to be the first one from your new band?, what's your new band's name?, will it be your main project as Kalidia was too?.......sorry but I can't get you had a band for 12 years now, just released two albums and now you all split just like that.

@@RoyAksnes this new band is my main one, where I write my own music and lyrics. I can’t share the name for now, will do it as soon as I can. With Kalidia, we didn’t agree on so many things, it became impossible to release something new and no one had the legal rights to use the name

As much as I can, for the fantastic human that you are my dear, I will be there ! What comes to an end, means there’s a new era incoming 😘!
