People might shit on bass drum triggers, but they really clean up the sound at 42069 BPM. Not to mention that if you do make a mistake it's much easier to hear because the kicks aren't a muddy blob of sound.

I usually hate triggers and most drummers use them to do the work for them but then there are also guys like Ken who are actually so good that they can use Trigers to their advantage and simply because they have to because of clarity, as you say. Most other drummers put the sensitivity to 1 Million so they can tapdance on their bassdrums. On top there are some than quantize the hits and some that don't. The former sound sterile but accurate, the latter sound like a typewriter that is falling down some stairs. Hate I do both kinds. But this guy here can really play his drums and he definitely uses triggers right. It's a joy to watch

I heard otherwise. I heard it creates intense heat from friction and it melts and actually makes cracks in the earth causing earthquakes.

His snare sounds so fucking sexy.

I love how he maintains so much tonality and control of dynamics with his hands, on top of the fact his footwork is flat out incredible, the guy's very well rounded, I'm always happy to see when a new Aborted drum cam gets uploaded :D

This boy seems out of this world, so relaxed, enjoying his masterful demonstration without fuss, not wanting to draw attention, only making his devilish rhythms and compasses, totally awesome, he is a really Master drummers.

I guess this is pure CGI i cannot believe hoe he is that fast and solid. He reaches everything with ease and on time. Even with loads of notes. Really an impressive guy, he has technique to plat everything.

Ken is a very talented drummer though, dude is an amazing guy to hang out with too him his dad and i hang out all the time when hes home from tour lots and lots of video games and boxing.

that trigger sounds amazing. is that a DM5 module you're using? only reason why is because I use the DM5 and have my trigger programmed to speed metal but it doesn't have that beefy click sound like yours does.
