Right those longlegs trailer creep me out everytime

The lost boys and the original fright night last vampire movies i cared about. There’s blade but i dont consider those vampire movies. I saw the first evil dead when i was 11, scared me so bad i instantly forgot about it the moment it was done. Lol

Great review! I saw the movie last night and couldn't agree more. It's like the first gory horror movie that's somehow family-friendly. It's a bit like a Scooby-Doo episode, but with gore and a couple of serious moments. There's one particularly dark moment when a certain character "turns" that might stick with kids into adulthood-not because it's gory, but because it's creepy and unfortunate. Despite remembering the events of the movie, it didn't leave an impact on me. When I got home, I immediately rewatched "Late Night with the Devil" on Amazon-a real horror movie, far superior to "Abigail."

Dig the review man. I'm still going to see this one. Sounds like good fun to me.

The Guest is so underrated. Okay, James, speaking of horror comedy, what is your opinion of Lair of the White Worm?

This one looks like fun. I'm not expecting to be blown away or anything, but I'm game. I like Dan Stevens, and the little girl seems like she's giving a good performance, from what I can tell by the trailer. Seeing it tomorrow morning.

I really hope that Melissa Barrera who played Joey in this movie takes her upon herself to work with some prestige directors similar to Mia Goth and Sydney Sweeney or Emma Stone. I think she has the acting chops and she’s beautiful. Also the movie I think will do well at the box office will be Maxxxine. I think Nosfertu will unfortunately be to niche.

What did you think of Francis Ford Copolla’s Dracula?

I loved ABIGAIL !! It’s my second favorite movie this year ( behind DUNE 2) . It was loads of fun. It reminded me of one of my favorite horror movies .. FRIGHT NIGHT .

The directors are clearly Hollywood royalty with relations Mike Timothy olyphant and the Gilette blades empire

Vampyre from '79 is a masterpiece. Top 5 vampire movie all time.

It's a shame that the trailer showed way too much, trying to sell the movie. Too many movies loses their appeal, because the studios can't cut a proper trailer.

Agreed. Trailer revealing the vampire angle was a big mistake IMO.

It looks cool. Read were going to name it Daughter of Dracula. Has few actors I particularly like . I know some tim I liked movie, but nothing to rave about.
