Saw the movie tonight for the fourth time. Love vampire movies and this is a great twist on the story.

I WANNA SEE IT AGAIN! I saw it the first day it came out with friends and I was the only one who “LOVED” it. I don’t get how some people didn’t like how humor was mixed in a horror movie but I think that’s what makes it different… ur lucky u saw it that many times, I was so obsessed after finishing it. goodness

@@AlyssaMariani I loved It, it's my kind of horror movie. I love some camp sprinkled in alongside with the seriousness of the plot and storytelling. It's beautifully well done and ever since both screams came out. I've been wanting to watch Abigail. I love scream. I'm a Melissa Barrera supporter and fan. Her being able to go from mexico then NYU then back to mexico. Star in some novelas and then come back to the US. I love her commitment and strive for what she is telling us through storytelling. Her acting is unique and I don't care what other people say. Her, Jenna Ortega, Jasmine Savoy-Brown and Mason Gooding have reinvigorated the scream franchise and I appreciate the small core four moments 😜

I thought both halves were great. But yes, Alisha Weir has a huge career ahead of her. Phenomenal young actress. Any of the other actors could have been switched out and it wouldn't have made a difference - although they all did a great job. Ultimately, Alisha carried this movie!

@@Nightflyer720 the part that impressed me the most believe it or not was when she was in the cage and she spoke about each character’s personality… it was like a grown professional experience actress talking… loved it plus fact she changed her accent completely in such a convincing way! she was brilliant!

@@stephenpatton703 Absolutely! I mentioned the cage scene specifically in another post. I was blown away by her delivery - spitting those venomous words like an Oscar-winning veteran performer. As young as she is, she clearly has an innate understanding of the art of acting. And I don't think that kind of natural ability and self-awareness is something that can be taught. You either have it or you don't, and Alisha has it in spades. Incredible!

This is a great & entertaining movie that deserves a higher box office draw. It is a horror movie with some dry humor. It is not a spoof of a horror movie. The acting is excellent, and the character development is superb. The villains are multi-dimensional people who are bad, but they are vulnerable and sometimes sensitive. As the movie progresses, you will like & feel sorry for the villains. The humor is interwoven in the characters' personalities. The humor appears in how the kidnappers interact with each other and react to the vampire. This is a horror movie with graphic, grotesque & violent decapitation and mutilation scenes. The movie is a blood bath and is not suited for the faint of heart or stomach. Abigail appears to be a sweet & vulnerable 12 year old girl. In a second she can turn into a vampire with the look of a ferocious & ravenous animal. Abigail attacks her victims with a rabid, remorseless and relentless intensity. As a vampire, Abigail's eyes display a psychotic & dangerous monster with a compulsion to mutilate and kill. She kills for sport and nourishment. Abigail's threatening and amused smile reveals that she is incarnate evil. This movie is well worth your time & money.
