@@juventus6728 They didn't walk away They were made to walk away. After INA was tried to neutralize by British. Their was a revolt which started within the army. And slowly it was started to be seen in Navy and Airforce as well. And huge reason was that INA was formed by the Indians who went to fight for British in World War 2 and were captured by Japan and Britain made no efforts to save the captured Indian Soldiers. The revolt was going on when WW2 ended and economic depression started. So British in England were weak and couldn't help the ones here in India with anything from man to commodities. They still tried to keep India as much as possible because ofc it could exploit but the revolts were so much that they couldn't afford another hit after WW2.

​@@siddharthdoshi1703 an utter fiasco is going on here since the corrupt leadership from all the Political Parties (Sharifs, Bhuttos, Mullahs etc.) have joined hands to overthrow Imran Khan's Government which was doing a good job. Now that Khan is out of power, the new corrupt government cannot handle the situation and hence, pushing the country into economic crisis. Everyone over here wants elections as soon as possible but the government is being stubborn, because if there are elections, Imran Khan is going to come back with almost 2/3rd majority - He is the best option we have right now.

I am a senior citizen...l used to hear this from my father who would have been over 100 years now if lived. He was very much against Gandhi and his intentions. He used to call him the biggest hypocrite in Indian Politics. But l was so confused at that time as what l was studying in History Books in school would not match with what my father would say . Now it is clear to me. Thank you for arranging this type of programme.Will look forward for many more.

The story about Navy was not in our NCERT books, but I remember our history teacher told us the same thing that Mr. Chavda said and now I feel proud we had such a GREAT teacher who taught us what was not even in books. We need such teachers in schools.

Hello Ranveer, I recently watched "The Tashkent Files" movie and it depicts at what scale we have done Injustice to Lal Bahadur Shashtri. Specially the ruling Party- Indira Gandhi at that time. How we have totally ignored how Shashtriji died? October 2 is Gandhiji's Birth date but it is of Lal Bahadur Shashtri's too. I apologize if you already have covered this topic before but I think you must arrange a session with relevant person who can shade some light on Shashtri's life, patriotism and death controversy. I think "Anuj Dhar" is for sure the best person in this regards.

There is another perspective to it, Nehru ji was much younger than Patel ji. And if we would have lost our leader early it would have derailed our progress. Pakistan lost its leader early just after independence, we can see where they are right now. Foundation strong karne ke liye maybe Gandhi ji ne ye kiya ho!!

@@dhruba5849 Gandhi had already declared Nehru as his successor , at point 1942 when there was danger of japanese invasion Patel sidelined Nehru and Gandhi and took control of Congress and told britishers to support them in case of invasion of japanese. Many times Nehru proved his worth before becoming PM and gave some important advice like whether to support britishers or not, as a mediater between Bose and gandhi during Tripure session of Congress . Patel has also two phase earlier he was complete devotte of Gandhi later he changed after seeing failures of NCM and CDM he started to become extremist which may develop hate in Gandhi to Patel

I was searching for hate comments from some people atleast but to my surprise I rarely found one even after scrolling for 15mins, that shows people are aware about the reality and are open to accept the facts. Majority of our real history was so drastically erased and kept hidden from us.

Its not the real history , this person here is just selling a narrative either he do not know or wtever ,but he did not presented the real facts.Read books which tells factual history with dates facts & reason.Read spectrum books,rajiv ahir ,ram chandra guha,bipin chandra...There were no five star jails for anyone back then....Gandhi ji did not just became the centre the of indian politics overnight & he must have done something that everyone around the world started admiring him & still respect him. He was not perfect & nor did all of his actions,but he was not god that we expect him to hv done all the superhuman things,he did things & used methods which were best known to him, all others used theirs....for example bose choosed a different path which he felt was ryt thing to do at that moment....i dont understand why todays generation & media loves to judge their contribution without doing anything real for nation ourself... In grade 12, I had 90% score in History. With this podcast, which negates a lot of things that I learnt, I feel I failed my grade , since we were taught wrong story. That is how strong nations are built, look at china, if there would have been transparency of the history of their nation, do you think they could have prospered the way they did, not only china but the entirety of Whiteman nations are built on pseudo historical ideologies! After all, the world politics is just a war of ideologies and the winners are able to push forward their ideology as truth.

And near to his death, he regretted very much for partition and massacre of so many people. For only his own ambitions and desire to rule, he literally pushed laks of population in dark and blood future. What are your views on it ? bcoz atlast we have more muslims in india then Pakistan and majorly they are happy and also if you were also included then, would also enjoy majority.

It needs to accept it's Hindu heritage like Indonesia, and use those ties to form greater alliances with other nations like Indonesia does. We have the same blood, same ancestors, same history. We should be the greatest allies if only Pakistan accepts that it shares the same holy land as us, it too had the same fate due to invaders, absolve itself of it's crises.of identity. If you are a proud Indian, why are you in Canada. Go back and work in India. If you have any reasons to why you won't go back then you are not a proud Indian, and so you should learn to assimilate to your new country.

I have shared this podcast to my parents and family to enlighten them. Most of my family members are teachers, who taught us to worship Gandhi ji. Except for one uncle. Thanks to that Uncle, I learnt to think rationally. Today, after listening to this podcast, I really appreciate way of showing us practical aspects of history.

Gandhi returned to India in 1915 and was insisted by Gokhale sahab to join Congress as the revolution needs more and more people and late in 1934 or so he also resigned from congress and may be again he had to join the party....Now you tell me he didnt revolutionize the whole congress party over night u moeon Chavda..it took hi time to make the 35 year old political party to a new level...the way you explained it is like it was a mere minute of his life time but it take time for a revolution😂🤣

Strike community was not clear about the independence in their charter of demands as most of the demands were about equal treatment in comparison to royal Navy. Leaders were watching this play out,who would the risk the proper transfer of power when it was going parallelly with these events? The major arms and big equipments were under British control,even indian officer sided with the British, without any leadership if the war breaks out between the forces,army stance still was not clear? Who would risk out losing out the war,reducing ones own bargaining power,killing the strength of our own forces when cabinet misson plan which was channelizing the transfer of power was taking place?risking this with 7-8 decades of independence struggle worth it? Chavdaji,why whitewashing events?let the audience know risk of war,losing out the war,power vaccum taking place due to this? Let the audience know about the Congo civil wars- which happened in similar fashion. What is ethnically Pakistani? You could say that your ethnicity is, for example, Baloch, Sindhi, or Punjabi if you don't want to say that you are ethnically Indian. But yeah you are Pakistani by nationality not ethnically.

Just a small correction, Jinnah wasn’t the first prime minister of Pakistan, it was liaquat Ali khan. Mohammed Ali Jinnah was the first Governor General who’s the representative of the queen to the Pakistan. And there’s another interesting story about him in which Jinnah had formerly asked Nehru to come back to Bombay as his house in Malabar hill was very dear to him.

Yes, bro the history taught in school is a pro-Gandhi family. Mohandas Gandhi as the Father of the nation. Which is of Pakistan and Not India. Nehru's birthday as Children's Day 🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏. It should be Chamadi Diwas 🤫🤫🤫...BC ek no ka Chamadi tha. Came to power by Nepotism - Gandhi surname. Sardar Valabhai Patel was supposed to be our 1st Prime Minister. He would have solved the Kashmir issue before 1947 or soon after that. India would have been a very strong country. There may have been no 1948 war with Pakistan.

Truth and reconciliation have their place. The poster child would be to take legal recourse against Britain and her activities, looting India and conspiring against India and partition of India. $43 trillion dollars was looted from Bharat. In British history, Churchill is whitewshed as a hero. Not the supremist and racist he clearly proved himself to be.Have courage to google and read for yourself.

Dear Ranveer, We are South Indians - Tamilians, to be specific. When we were in UAE, our driver was a Pakistani. Our son grew on his shoulders. He is still my elder brother. I owe a lot of thanks to him for taking care of me when my husband used to be busy at work. He has driven me and our son, who was a baby then, to the Sivan Koil and Krishnan Koil at Dubai. During my early days of pregnancy, he has brought food and silently kept in the hall, as per my husband's directions. Your podcast brought those memories back to my mind. I used to call him Arif Bhai. Thank you for making me do the time travel.

We do understand the sentiments of North Indians who have undergone the tyranny of Mughal emperors,.... But from the perspective that got formed in a few people like us, over the years, we consider Pakistanis as Punjabis. They speak such beautiful Punjabi language in the typical Delhi dialect - with due respectful addressing,, etc. Aren't they our Punjabi cousins? They talk of Kheth, farming, etc. which is typical to the people of Sindh region, that extensively was Bharat, in olden days. Are they not our very own Punjabis who perhaps got converted a few years ago? Correct me, if I am wrong. Kindly be considerate in pointing out flaws in my understanding. With due regards, this is an Aam janta from the South of this great land called பாரத்.

The funniest thing is, ambedkar converted to Buddhism which led his present followers to follow Buddhism too ( at least they call themselves Buddhists) and do things Buddhism opposes. Perhaps they want to start a new religion with ambedkar as their founder and do things ambedkar opposed. Those jai bhim folks don't know what they want

@@babyDhairya710 first a thought was seeded and repeated a number of times in the tv and social media to put it into people’s subconscious mind (things like gandhi was bad, ncert books are a lie, etc.). now it is being reconfirm to them through these seemingly “intelligent” conversations. classic way of selling and marketing. if you look at the gujarat model of development, it was rooted in media management, narrative management and headline management. same is being done at a national level today.
