Those good old days of #Indian_Idol1 which kind of started the reality show craze in India. It is just unmatchable .❤ Still remember voting for Arijit Sawant for winning it. He deserved every bit of it.❤🎉 All 90s kids will relate to it. Just loved this interview - he was very calm & matured then ,now also his answers were just so on point, practical & classy. He has still got that winner quality & humbleness.🫶 Now-a-days ,the reality shows are so over edited & scripted that it doesn't feel the same way. Also ,these voting lines blocked allegations are absolute rubbish because I had friends who were supporting Amit Sana & they were easily able to give votes without issue.

@SiddharthKannanOfficial Thanks for bringing Abhijeet Sawant on the show. Abhijeet is so mature and spoke his mind in such a heartfelt manner. He has no bitterness of not being where the world thinks he should have been. He seems content and happy in life. Though I was not a fan, after this interview I have become a fan of you as a person. I think Amit sana just wants to blame someone for his faliure.

How disgusting to bring Amit Sana, extract his inner feelings by trying to look genuine, and then, make fun of him! I have observed this about Siddharth Kannan.. he tries to look genuine but is not exactly a trustworthy person. As time progresses, people will keep noticing such things about him. Even he cannot help his own nature. He tries to make others look low--- even interviewees in the guise of emotional connect. Very low blow. 🤮🤮🤮 Amit Sana did not say that Abhijeet did anything wrong... he only implied that he was being favored. We see it all around us---in offices, etc that people act on biases without the participation of person being favored. Same thing may have happened here as well. It's not that farfetched especially because both Rahul and Amit were clearly better singers than Abhijeet. Abhijeet was completely innocent but someone could have favored him without his consent. It is possible.

I went back to my childhood .. i still remember how in every episode ..i used to vote for him.. i have consistently voted for him.. i literally jumped and had tears when his name was announced as "winner". @@DSN007you are right, am sure this fellow had some political backing that’s why he won and got the initial promotion. These things happen a lot in Mumbai, there is a dark underbelly to Mumbai…I live there so I know what goes behind all these narratives. Shahrukh had to live in Mumbai so if shiv sena pressurized him to promote abhijit sawant, he would do it and say all things playing safe. Agar yeh itna achha hota toh shahrukh issko apni movies mai chance deta, but he didn’t because he knew what the reality was.

Abhijeet is so sorted and clear in his mind and was not bothered by Kannan's poking. He answered very simply and so true to heart.... he won over the heart all over again.....

I remember when his song released back around 2005 I think and I used to really like the song.. the song title is ‘Kya tujhe pata hai’ and a second one called ‘Lafzon Mein’. Brings back so many memories 💕

After Tadap Tadap k performance I had become crazy fan of Abhijeet. I had huge crush on him.I was crazily wanted to meet him. and jese kehte manifestion works vese hi he came to our city for performance. and luckily I got to meet him. That was the bestest moment which will I never forget

Chile talking with Amit Sana Siddharth vkannan was quite serious. Amit Sana spoke his heart out in front of him and now he and Abhijit Sawant are making fun of him . This is not fair. Amit Sana is a simple gu from a small town.. They should not have made fun of him. Abhijit Sawant beware tomorrow he may call Rahul Vaidya and they together may make fun of you.

By doing this interview, Siddharth Kannan has actually proved Amit Sana's point. The industry is shallow. This guy did an interview with Amit Sana first and now he calls Abhijeet Sawant to troll Amit Sana.

They are both decent human beings. There's no reason to put the other down to elevate the other. Amit might have had his reasons and Abhijeet thinks otherwise. End of the matter. They perhaps were both played by the production house and the channel, used and discarded. Given the way their careers unfolded rather didn't, says a lot. They are both talented and decent human beings but didn't really fight around for their place like Rahul Vaidya did. To each his own. That doesn't make any of them bitter or bad.

It was a competition of who is the best singer. It was not a competition about having a good family, background, values and humility. Throughout the competition Amit Sana was well behaved ( no arrogance or tantrums). He too came from a decent as well as humble family with good values like Abhijeet Sawant.... ultimately what went wrong? Why he lost is a big mystery!!!!!

One thing I know was that the voting lines weren’t blocked. I was in my tenth grade and the moment my parents used to disappear from the room where we had a landline, I would sit and dial in support of Sawant. There was never a busy line and imagine me dialling from the same no. I don’t know why I was so crazy but that was a phase. Today I am in my forties and I remember the silliness 😹😹 Amit Sana was absolutely wonderful, my younger brother was a huge fan. Even I liked him but I guess I wanted Sawant to win. Indian Idol or any other such platform is a lucky break for aspiring singers to show their talent to the world and especially to the music world. All the music directors, producers and directors watch these young talent. Its a great blessing BUT rest is your own destiny . Tremendous competition and availability of newer fresher better voices play a Big role in the career graphs of these aspiring singers.

He is very positive person and good singer

Abhijit Sawant was the most likeable contestant on Indian Idol 1 and I as a senior citizen loved his sweet personality. But definitely not deserving to win the title. He was recently invited on Indian Idol 14 and not asked to sing solo. Meiyang Chang a participant of I Idol earlier and past winner of J D J, was invited on Jhalak Dikhlaa Ja and he entered singing. This proves that even the creators don't have confidence in Abhijeet Sawant pulling off a good vocal performance. I disliked Rahul Vaidya because of his attitude but he and Amit Sana are much more superior singers. This is a totally unbiased opinion of a music lover.

Not sana sana was a faltu singer supported only by his gaonwale. And duet doesnt mean bad singer. Even Arijit fakes a lot of concerts. That doesn't mean bad singing. Abhijeet and Vaidya were the only two good singers

Abhijeet spoke so well. He is such a darling. Comes across as a simple, honest and transparent person. Very grounded, down to earth, practical, pragmatic and mature. He is so big hearted and understanding. Absolutely brilliant. There is so much to reflect on what he said and learn from him. Salute his parents and teachers for instilling these values. Honestly I never thought he will win and preferred Rahul or Prajakta to win. But God is great and destiny matters. Happy for him. Be blessed Abhi.
