As a brown girl with light brown eyes, that palette speaks to my soul. I neeedddd it. Not discounting any lighter people, but this palette seems like a match made in heaven for people with colour and melanin.

I'm not overly a fan of ABH but this has definitely caught my eye! I really love the grunge vibe and it's a great antithesis of all of the million rose palettes we have seen from everyone the last few years!

I do like the palette for my skin tone. These earthy tones flatter me. I have a warm olive undertone with dark hair & dark eyes. I am what they call a dark/deep autumn. Thanks for the review.

I love the grungy but pretty vibes of this. And I love the vintage book style packaging. I feel like vintage metals would have been a more suitable name.

You know these real rose arrangements that will last for about a year? Some of them also come with metallic overspray. I think that palet is it.

No! I love your swatches! They are the closest to how the shadows will behave on the eyes. It actually look to me like 2 six pans joined together, one more rosy, one more reddish-brown.

Oh, I see the 2 six pans now.🤓 So cool! And yes, light swatches, maybe also just swatches with a brush on a primed skin, because we are not gonna apply the shadows with mighty fingers, poking our eyeballs out!?

Actually, this totally *DOES* give me dying roses, stems and whatnot vibes, too! And, I am here for it. That poster who said that had me cackling up a storm when you read it 🤣 Guess my tube of ABH Matte lipstick in Dead Roses will be having some usage when I get my palette in a few days. Because 🥀

I agree I’m like… ”ppl mean dying roses… in a BAD way? 😧”. Personally I love the grungey color story, but I prefer cooler tones with my complexion 😔

I wasn’t planning on picking this up but after those swatches…it looks great gorgeous! I’m loving the grunge thing because I don’t really have anything like that in my collections. And, let’s be real, this is dialed down / accessible grunge that should appeal to a wide range of folks.

I actually love the "muddiness", or grunginess of these colours. 😂 It is exactly what I want after all these bright, orangey, pinky palettes. Thank you for your lovely review

Yes! Please don’t change this! I guess it’s more visually pleasing when creators use a template and the swatches are all uniform, but LIVE swatches, so you can see how the formulas moves and spreads is vital.

I like slightly heavier swatches to be able to see the colors. Plus I like to see how they slide across the skin. Like how evenly the pigment distributes. I don't want anyone to dig their finger into the pan or press really hard when swatching just enough to be able to see. I hope that made sense lol

I think the palette is interesting. Anybody else notice this deep color trend. Natasha Denona My Dream palette, This ABH palette, Huda had Empowered. Deep berry nutty gritty colors across the board

Well... this is definitely my style 👌I have Norvina and Riviera and now I put this palette on my table at work, as it arrived half an hour ago💖I love the idea of a dying rose. The colours as I watch them now look very much like dried roses from our garden. We have a pretty bunch of them as a decoration in a flat. Fantastic palette, I was blown away from the first look at it.

I really like the color story. I think it's easy to see the possible color combinations from your swatches. I agree with your comment re simple looks.

I loved it just looking at the palette but seeing the looks being created are phenomenal.

I love a nice dark and smoky palette. I can’t wait to try it now. It looks right up my alley (plus I love coppers as it makes my green eyes pop, I love it). So…I grabbed both this palette and the Nouveau palette (I’ve been waiting to get these for a sale) on the ABH site and it was 2 palettes for $65. Great deal plus I grabbed a mini of the eyeshadow primer which got me up over $75 and it gave me a further percentage off (I think 15?) Not bad! I’m glad I waited for this deal. They ended up at about half the price!

This video definitely helped Morgan, thank you! Grungy vibes are definitely my style but looking at the swatches I feel like I have these tones in my collection, The shade that attracted me the most is the most pigmented creamy shimmer, but I definitely have that color too, not worth it for my collection. I feel like it’s color story is very similar to the ND star, and I don’t love the cool toned half of that one. If I could go back, I would definitely get the ABH instead

This is why I watch reviews before I purchase because just looking at this palette I thought meh then you switched it and I thought oh wow that's beautiful but I'm definitely thinking about getting this one.

I like the color story. It’s little different everyone else coming with same colors. I was not going to buy any eyeshadow pallet this holidays but thinking of picking this one up. I love her soft and glam pallet. Her eyeshadow to me always look more beautiful once applied to eyelids then In a pallet.

This palette wasn't even on my radar at all, there have been so many good releases lately and I need to be extra picky these days, money is tight. I went today to Selfridges and saw it there, just did a quick couple of swatches and I was shocked, it looked so much better in person than online! I went outside and after 5 min. came back to the store and picked it up, I couldn't leave without it!! Can't wait to start playing with it and creating some fall grungy looks!! So excited!! 🍁😍🍂

I really love the cool tones and mattes in the palette!! Those are what caught my eye.. wish I could pick my favorite shades from this and the nouveau and have a “Me” palette 😂 awesome review btw💙

I agree, i chose the Noveau pallette bc I would have more cooler options, however Nocturne and Royal looks amazinggg from this palette

Your's was the review on this palette I've been waiting for. Thank you as well for the comparisons, especially to the Carly Bybel palette. I didn't pick up the Nouveau palette because I wasn't super drawn to the colors, and while I prefer the colors in this palette, it's just too deep all throughout for me to use very much. I love the CB palette which you showed is much lighter in comparison, so I feel much better about my decision to skip this one. I hate not picking up a holiday limited edition palette, but I'd rather spend $55 on something that will get lots of use. PS it was because of your awesome review of the Melt Gemini II that I was able to hold off getting that one too, so thank you!!

I'm convinced the muddiness is partly due to the contrast of the silver packaging around the shades

This palette is so beautiful…definitely getting this…just not in a rush

I was in my local Sephora yesterday and they had a space for it but it was still in the back and they said that they couldn't put it out until tomorrow. This is one I'm going to have to see in person before taking the plunge. I am normally fair in the winter and medium in the summer. I noticed that it is a more mid toned palette with only 1 light shimmer so I will probably pass unless I swatch it in store and fall in love. Even then I would probably wait until it's on sale. I am very glad that this palette will work extremely well for my friends who have deeper complexions.

It has been forever since my inner Gollum looked at a palette and screaamed "My Precious" back to me. I absolutely love it. Some shades reminds me of UD Naked Heat, the worst palette I ever bought. I collect palettess that I like despite being unable to use most of them because I have blepharitis and most o them cause flare ups. I wish the Mario palette could be reborn.

I keep telling myself I don’t like ABH’s eyeshadow formula, but holy moly this is soooo pretty 😮

Honestly, I wasn't interested in this palette until you started swatching. Yup, now I want it.

Ok I hated this palette on the pictures they posted of it on their instagram bc it looked soooo dark and too dark for me but in this video you showed of it in natural lighting it looks gorgeous!! I really like it! Wayyyy better than the Nouveau palette. I just bought their mini Glam To Go palette and I’m absolutely loving it- it’s so freaking cute with how small it is you could throw in your purse and it would be so easy to travel with. I love the shades in it too, and I know exactly what you mean by the metallic/shimmer shades are just sooo buttery they almost feel like cream shadows which is so true. And the pigmentation is of course amazing with their shadows that’s a given and with the mini glam to go the pigmentation of the mattes and shimmers is out of this world I can’t stop using it! And it’s only $29 for 6 shades… I think it was definitely worth it.

I don't have particularly sensitive eyes but I do react slightly to the pigments. I've also found that they stained my eyes like crazy especially the red or pink shades. Kinda learned the hard way with colorpop

These are colors for medium to deeper complexions or for the summer when you get a tan; they would look GREAT! These are my colors, I use intense eyeshadows.

Great review! It is a grungy palette. It's okay. I am not a fan of ABH and her formula but haven't tried any of her new palettes so don't know if the formula is better. Seems like it.
