Just a small point... In radial artery filling can occur by itself because of high positive pressure of 120 mmhg... Pull the piston beforehand and the syringe will fill it by itself... If it doesn't it represents a venous blood.

No. Make sure there is no air, only Heparin in the syringe before starting.

its great to see such a small needle for an arterial puncture which I think is best, most people don't.. for people who don't know 2 small veins accompany the radial artery so be careful when you puncture, it can be venous blood.

thinking about having an artery puncture was always scary to me. when i had leukemia last year, i had to have one due to infection.... i didn't feel anything, i didn't even feel the puncture. i wonder how that was possible. the respiratory therapist was just .... excellent
