Das jammer. Had de dongle al 4 maanden geleden aangeschaft. Had ik hem mooi voordat de auto kwam. Hij werkt nu niet. Welke dongle werkt wel goed met abrp?

I noticed after some testing, that you actually need to connect ABRP to the OBD EACH TIME you put it into place! ABRP does not remember, that it has already been used/connected, that is a pity. But luckily the connection set-up works very fast to my Vgate iCar PRO BLE 4.0.

I have the Veepeak OBD BLE and it comes on every time automatically. Only need to connect my phone to the Andriod auto car play and I see it on my headunit. No uninstall and reinstall ob2 adaptor.

Is it save to use the dongle ? I know you told something about hacking from outside But i mean is it save technical for the car ? Also i see you can by a on off power cable is this recommened because the dongle taking power of the car battery or just pull out after a long trip its enough ?

Question trying to decide whether to get lunar grey or the brown and black on the pro s. Just not sure

ABRP could show the current reference consumption as ghosted in automatic mode so you would get an idea which number it uses. Funny how the charge curve goes down when your charge rate goes up. 🤔 What does it take for the ID.4 data to switch from alpha to beta status, I mean it is out for more than a year already...

It shows the current reference consumption at your route when driving. Its the 191 wh/km value.

Hi, ID.Furkan... I have read that the Veepeak BLE dongle can only "read" the car data, but it cannot do something active on the car, such as opening the doors or starting the engine... Have you more bits of information about that?

The dongle itself cant, but if a 3th party/person connects to the dongle while the car is active and knows what he does it can do stuff directly into the car, but in my usage i cant connect to the dongle while the car is not 'active'. Veepeak CAN read AND write with the right app. Like Bimmercode for mini/bmw

Hi ID, great video, perfect timing for me as I have just now followed your demonstration and successfully linked a Vgate iCar Pro BLE4.0 Android & Windows OBD. The security warning is noted but I see the low power Bluetooth has a very short range. Added to this I suspect the metal body of the car creates a metal cage that further restricts range. For instance, 5 metres sees no signal. Cheers

Is there a reason for the continuous jumping of the video? It seems that sections have been removed every few seconds, making it 'curious'. Otherwise good!

Hoi Ik heb ook een veepeak aangeschaft. Dezelfde als in jouw beschrijving, maar hij maakt helaas geen verbinding met de dongle. Wel met car scanner

Ik heb de Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ Bluetooth 4.0 OBD2-scanner voor iOS en Android, auto-diagnostische codelezer, scangereedschap voor universele OBDII/EOBD-voertuigen. Ik ga de obd alleen gebruiken om verbinding te maken met abrp. Ik verbind hem niet met car scanner en evnotify, maar deze werken wel met de obd. Ik krijg ook verbinding met de evnotify en abrp maar de verbinding is hij na 10 minuten al weer kwijt (beeldscherm telefoon zet ik uit). Als ik de obd rechtstreeks verbind met abrp dan ziet hij de obd en de eerste vinkje krijg ik maar bij het aftellen van 30 sec krijg ik een foutmelding na 1 sec! Krijg ik de obd nog aan de praat of kan ik beter een andere pakken?

Ho wachten even. Evnotify en carscanner werkt? Dus Android? Als evnotify met abrp werkt is het helemaal geen reden dat abrp direct niet werkt Je auto moet wel actief zijn om data binnen te halen. Dus ieder geval rempedaal getrapt en auto is klaar om in D/R te gaan. En dat je connectie verliest doordat je scherm uitstaat komt door je telefoon. Hoogstwaarschijnlijk een agressieve batterij besparing instelling.

Ja ik heb android. Dus je zegt dat het wel rechtstreeks moet werken met Abrp en dat ik D moet staan. Ik zal het straks proberen. Ik wil liever zonder evnotify werken.

Wel je auto verwijderen en opnieuw verbinden in ABRP. Anders zal het wachten op een verbinden van evnotify, maar dat wil je niet

Does this need the premium version of ABRP?

It does not, you need premium for carplay/androidauto so.. dont connect your phone to that and will work good on phone only

@@EV.Furkan but you still need premium for traffic and weather, so I'm guessing it isn't as accurate without premium?
