Great and informative video. Regularly stay in a cottage by coast path overlooking Enlli. Fished a deep rock mark there many times 10 mins from cottage. Great scenery and fishing but watch out for freak waves, was fishing well 10 metres above the high tide mark one day as a bit rough and at low tide ! and almost lost a load of gear! Not the actual wave directly but the crazy amount of spray after the wave hit the rocks with full force. Beware of the unexpected. Like you say, not for the faint hearted, check it out in all conditions first. Back there this summer and can’t wait.

You must mention that fishing on the end of the LLyn that it is very dangerous especially when it's wet and not to fish in big swells. Only a year and bit back father and son were washed of the rocks while fishing 20ft up the father was never seen again and the son was very lucky indeed..

Thanks for the video, you should do video content on low/high tides in this area.

Thanks for the comments, i think its important to give enough information about a mark without giving step by step guide of where the exact secret rock fishing hotspot is ! Ill be lynched if i did that. However there is a difference between giving information and anglers actually getting out there and investigating further. The website seafishingmarks only seeks to enthuse the Sea Angler to get out and have a go somewhere new and compare notes if they fish one of these marks regually. Things change and seasons vary so up to date local information is paramount. Again cheers for watching ill keep improving video standard and maybe actually get out there and take some video again this June.

Your insights are helpful and informative enough to get in and explore and your precautionary comments on the risks are sound advice..... Don't worry about your pronunciation of the Welsh locations.... I speak fluent Welsh and I understood each and every location you mentioned.... If you enjoy light fishing gear....Hell's Mouth beach is also excellent for "Schoolie Bass"....you only cast within 15 feet of the shoreline where the waves are breaking.... running rig on an anchor weight with small meaty mackerel strip for bait....on a hot summers day you can actually watch the small bass in the curl of the wave..... obviously "catch and release", but good fun with the odd chance of a "big boy"....

Thanks yes be careful out there folks the swell can suddenly come out of nowhere _ not a mark for kids or beginners. wet rocks and abrupt change in conditions van be fatal . thanks for tour input good call

I tried that spot where you said the tope was had last august. Nothing but snags. The tide was running so quickly. And the climb was horrendous. Was trying to find a more easily accessable rock mark for pollock and wrasse for a day out with the other half while camping.

Great video, do you kayak fish around Aberdaron? Any spot recommendations for kayaks?

Are there parts that are accessible down from the camp sites - where the Tope and Bull Huss are more common - opposite Bardsey island and along that stretch

Yes, I’ve stopped myself explaining the route as it can be lethal when wet. The clues are in knowing the difference from the sheep runs and human paths! I’ve seen sheep fall from the cliffs at at Mary’s well here which gives an indication of its danger. Yep the fishing g can be great and the scenery unsurpassed. The camp site provides the quickest route down though. I did an old video of this- check google earth, don’t fish alone and go a lot earlier than you think as I recon racing to a mark is the big danger for me anyway.

@@SaltwaterAngler thanks for your reply - probably put me off fishing lol. Are accessible marks a long walk from camps and are they crazy climbs down? Or is it that there are pathways down to them all be it a bit on the steep side. So long as we're not walking down with sheer drops either side then I can live with that. Have you fished Aber Menai before for big stuff and would you recommend?

I have fished there a while ago now, local tackle shops your best bet I guess for up to date info. Lots of accessible llyn marks maybe walk the route without gear first and you may even find somewhere almost unfished
