I met Donald Sutherland the year "A Dry, White Season" was released. SUCH a powerful movie!! I worked for the radio station in Cincinnati that interviewed him as part of the movie promotion. He was a beautiful, down-to-earth, humble man, who happened to be highly intelligent & an incredibly gifted actor!! Sincere condolences to his family!!

RIP Mr Sutherland....and condolences to the family. One of my favorite scenes is when Sgt Oddball, Private Kelly and Sgt Big Joe faced down the German tank in Kelly's Heroes. Another favorite character he played was the hitman in Hollow Point (A good movie overall) Too many other favorites to list. Great acting tuns in their family. I loved his son Kiefer in the movie The Cowboy Way (great movie overall) Thank you sir, for the years of entertainment.

They could discuss general rules of conduct and why, but not religion. The kids should also be taught what child abuse is, and who they can report it to safely if they have a problem, trusting authorities. Most problems happen when the kids, learning by example experience violence and abuse in the home.

Folks, when your body temperature excels and you dont have AC, take icepacks (you can use empty plastic bottles fill with water, FREEZE THEM ALITTLE DONT WANT THEM TO EXPLODE, AND Use cold cans, etc.) Place the cold pack on top of your HEAD, temples, neck, stomach to cool your core temperature DOWN. YOu dont want to get overheated. Also, use these icepacks for your domestic animals, dogs n cats get heat exhaustion. Place the pack on the animals belly, shoulder for several minutes really cools them down. I know because it works for me and my animals. Stay safe everyone, prayers out to all of you.❤

The Bible was created in 1604. There was no collective of religious writing prior The Bible is just a book of stories. That book is NOT about laws It is about beliefs. By establishing a place in classrooms you force children to absorb religion. I see no reason to have the 10 commandments as an education tool. Separation of church and state has worked for my lifetime. Religion should not be pushed at anyone. It is but another choice we have-like Coke or Pepsi. I’d throw a towel over the thing and go on teaching. It’s offensive to have religion forced on you.

We are not looking at the same info. The King James Version of the Bible was created in the early part of 1600’s. That seems to be the version of a Bible most reflect on. There have been many bibles and religious writing since the second century. My son-in-law has a doctorate in religion. He believes THE Bible was created for the king to control the masses. Using religion to force other to believe what you expound is cruel and controlling. I reject all religion as it is made up and make believe. Very few facts tell us about the King James Version. Many societies do not have a religion.
