Exactly, ABC financial advice is a fluff piece to not mention the unjust reasons rent has been increased, the monopolies that Real Estate industry and the major Investors of residential real estate have rigged the system, buying up way more of the supply then developers building at a snails pace compared to 8-10 years ago amd before. suppressing the supply produced and monopolizing the supply available, setting up a higher demand availability and increasing competition to raise prices. I'm not saying I know the Market is rigged, But it sure seems to this layman that the system is Rigged.

I hear you! I was bedridden for 10 years & only found out how bad my credit score was after my wife filed for Divorce. Any bills, mortgage, auto loans, etc. in MY name went unpaid for 10 years. Long story short, I cleaned it up, paid off all overdue bills & up until last month went from 400+ to 780+ (Excellent Rating). I decided to treat my Bro-in-law, a HS Buddy, my Niece & myself to concert seats to see Willie Nelson, Bob Dillon. John Mellencamp. Robert Plant. I planned on putting the charge on my PayPal Account but, when I got to the end of the checkout. a pop-up appeared saying CONGRAYS you now have a $9,000 Mastercard & this charge is placed on it. I called the next day, explained ALL & closed the account. !!! Long Story Short, my Credit Score dropped more than 100+ points, my explanation was refused. Now I am back below 700 points. No more (Excellent Rating) for me.

Some stores are using inflation as an excuse for raising prices by insane amounts. Try pricing aluminum stock and lumber at Home Depot! It's not so much about inflation. Its inflation. High gas, make it higher to buy products to be shipped, higher cost to make goods, with higher taxes, we then have to add in higher costs to cover that to still make a profit. Biden has introduced the inflation reduction act, he locked the price of insulin at $35 a vial, MAX. He introduced the CHIPS act, which has brought MILLIONS of jobs back to American shores. He introduced the American infrastructure act, which is putting desperately need funds into public infrastructure and utility, across the entire USA. I coulkd go on and on. the woman they interviewed on gas doesn’t know how to math which is hilarious. Hardest part for everyone I know is the increase in food cost; as a single dad it’s tough but kids eat first and if there’s any left then I eat after they are full.

Fun Fact --I used to work for a big farm owner, we had to sign a '''secret act''' about a third of the food produced on that farm, and he had others, were buried in a huge pit at least once a year. Because if all that food was to be put on the market there would be no profit. He also owned a supermarket, dumping out the good food to put in new produce. I want everyone to multiply this waste that is happening all over the states hundreds, if not thousands of times

When restrictions on gun laws are loosened as they seem to be in Texas every time we have a shooting, the government pushing gun sales should be sure the police and possibly every school is supplied with a shield rated to withstand a slug from an AR-15. Not all are. Of four grades of shields, only one is heavy enough to stop that. It is heavier and more expensive than the standard shields. The police at Uvalde had to await the arrival of a tactical unit that was equipped with the shield needed. When it arrived, Ramos was charged and shot. If Abbott would stop trying to hatch all the money he's sitting on from guns and oil, each police department could have at least one shield if not each school. If one is going to boost gun sales, they should assure defense for the innocents as well. Discreetly placed cameras in each class room should allow insight into location of shooters and placement and conditions of students and shooter. A self closing emergency exit type of armored door. with master keys for first responders could help to exclude those for whom the door is not opened.

About 5 years ago, there was a financial advisor on tv who recommended that investors buy mobile home parks and raise the rents and/or divide into lots to sell. It sounded so heartless then as it does now. My in-laws had this happen to them but fortunately they were able to sell theirs but it was the only one that sold in that park of 50 homes. Something needs to be done about this to ensure people who purchase these homes are fully informed about any plans to sell the property within the next 10 years or so. They cost a fortune to move and selling them is next to impossible.

Minimum wage act is a federal law . The minimum wage is enough to live local. The one bedroom apartment minimum housing needs 4 times the rent to qualify for a lease. The minimum wage is 4 times the avg rent for one bedroom apartment local commute. The minimum wage is not a transient wage or a homeless wage. If there are homeless people the wages are criminal wages there.

A 40 hr work week at the federal minimum wage of $7:25/hr =$ 290. After taxes are taken out it averages $223/mo. $223 X 4 ( 1 month) =$892. A one-bedroom apartment is on average is $800/month. People are not homeless by choice.

I know many, many, cops who are good members of the force who are more than willing to serve. BUT, they must be given a reasonable chance at survival. How can the government allow the manufacturing and selling of high powered armor piercing bullets to the ordinary public, that can take out 20 at once, that not even the cops have, then expect them to properly be BRAVE? Are we at war? The cops are willing to take the risks, but must be given a level playing field. During WW2, all the factories in Germany that used to belch out all those tanks and armor piercing bullets, that killed thousands of our willing soldiers and Allies were OWNED by the rich USA industrialists. Imagine, we claimed to be fighting the enemy, but for the sake of wealth, we armed the enemies against our willing soldiers. When the US owned German factories were bombed, the industrialists sued in the US courts and WON. 🤣Loyalty is a wonderful thing, but blind loyalty is folly. Everybody wants their life. Cops have families that love them too

When you compare the average American to the average European there is such a drastic difference. So many Americans are so arrogant and believe the unites states is number one when they do not notice the rug is being pulled from under them. I always notice that my American friends that have lived in another country from 6 months of more never adapt when it comes to living in the US again. It is very sad because culturally it is such an amazing place. The vast majority of Americans believe the US is the best country in the world but cannot even go to the hospital without having to sell their homes. The United States from 90s is long gone and the population is so ethnocentric they cannot even see it.

coupons and split gas with a friend and go to several stores, with the deals. Just spend 1 hour reading the sales that these stores send to us in our community. But, yeah, split the cost, talk about the same coupons and the best way to save. Some people save a lot! Like 24 packs of soda, buy one get one free. Can't beat deals like that. Make it a fun thing to do, or even use your computer to find the best codes. I've seen people come home with enough water finally, coupons, saved her 9 person family she inherited after unforeseen accidents. But she is a coupon beast! It's amazing to watch!
