A general rule, if you have more than 2 A choices, that are favorites, in a Pick 4, or 3 A choices, that are favorites in a Pick 5, either pass, or change your ticket structure. Good video.

Carolyn, I just went thru DRF's shananigans on Ticketrmaker on the upshot is you have to have DRF Plus account also.They don't make this clear anywhere that I have found but I called them. At least that info was good. DRF is $19.95 a month with a month free trial.

I know it seems like a lot, but what's $20 / month if it can help you win hundreds/thousands every month? At least that's my thought.

Howard - excellent explanation of ABC method. I have generally been hand punching them in individually. My issue is that I do have a basic DRF bets account but every time I try to use ticket maker it brings me to a screen where I would need to sign up and pay to be a DRF plus member to continue on. Do you know if ticket maker is accessible with just a basic funded DRF account?

@@richardflaks7302 Richard - thanks for the info. I suspected you needed a DRF plus account. To be honest most of my play goes through my Western Regional New York OTB account. The rewards are fantastic. Most tracks rebate 5% with a few at 3% if you bet at least $500 in a month. Much better than the 1% from DRF. I save $20 a month by not subscribing to DRF plus and get 3 to 5 times the reward payback by punching my own ABC tickets on my OTB account.

Howard, looks like DRF Ticketmaker is only available in the U.S now.

Yeah, heard about that...sorry, that sucks.

How often do you hit an all A ticket? I would guess 3 A's and 2B's is the combo most often hit.

Hi Richard....not too often honestly. I'm happy if I can hit on any scenario. I don't track which one I hit most, but I would say 4A 1B, or like you said 3A2B. Remember, the more A's you have, the more expensive it will be.
