Abby was the best. She was the one character who connected the old/original ER with the new ER. She went through so much and finally got to a place of happiness. Such an amazing character & such a joy to watch. Without a doubt one of the best tv characters ever.

I love that wall... look at all those names- Knight, Benton, Greene, Ross, Corday, Gallant, Pratt, Weaver.. an ER history lesson! :)

I love when Abby waltzes with Frank at the desk. That desk was the most under-appreciated character on the show. The things it saw ...

the last moments of the abby and mark were the most emotional moments in ER. FOREVER THE BEST TV SHOW.

I really loved how ER finished the show off by mentioning the original cast and even most of them showing up. it was perfect, it really felt like it all came together in the end.

this was an incredible episode of tv. it was better than the series finale. THIS felt like the end of ER.

Me too. I wish her and luka would’ve reunited with the old gang too with Benton, Corday, Weaver, Carter, Susan and Carol. They did they came around season 6 to meet up and still I wish they reunite and even meet Doug too.

Yeah, without Abby and Luka the show was not the same...

She just felt it was her time to go and be with Kovac and Joe.

Cried like a dog when Abby left

well, it IS abby. i mean, she was never really one for speeches.

I love Archie. I've seen this episode before, and I can't believe I forgot about that wall.... All those great doctors.... GONE! It's so unfair. The ER wouldn't be so understaffed if they hadn't all kept leaving!

This scene was so typical of Archie!😂. Sitting by the ambulance with the group not caring at all. All the sudden Abby starts saying how much she would miss everyone. And he’s like wait what? I loved how he had to ask when, even though it was insanely obvious. Got to get with the program Archie!!

it's an ER in a major city: it's always understaffed, that's just how the universe works.

This was a great show looking back at these episodes

On ER Abby was my favorite character. Now that she is gone, i love John Stamos. My mom tapes ER for me during the day and then i watch it for an hour every day and i ALWAYS talk about ABBy.

I'm still beyond happy that this isn't the last we see of Abby. She's in Episode 20 of S. 15. :)

She mentioned Carter which is so sweet...

Allie Blake I know...they were great even though they break up they were still friends and the special bond between them still break me sometimes wonder what life would have been like with Carter because Maggie/Eric seems to like him.

oh, those names made me miss all the old characters

she decided to start her life over again in boston with kovac. when she asked the nurse bout why carter's name isnt up there it made me think what her life wud have been like with carter

i love Abby, she was my favorite, and i didn't want ER to end either =(

This episode was very moving. Abby leaving, and then all those names on the wall brought back memories of all the old characters.

okay, it wasn't a mistake. jeanie WAS the only name missing, but there was a good reason for that - she was shown taking her name plaque when she left in season 6, and she left without anyone (besides kerry) knowing. so logically it's the only one that wouldn't be there, and that's exactly what they showed, 9 years later. pretty impressive attention to detail.

Abby puts her nameplate, from her locker, on the wall, and she also puts luka's up there too..all the staff who left the ER put their nameplates on the wall, or someone did it for them..apart from carter who wouldn't :)

Ok so I didnt watch ER but when I caught glimpses of the show the lady that plays abby looked familiar. Now I know where I seen her. She was on Liar Liar.

Yes her real name is Maura Tierney she was in movies like Liar Liar and Insomia and on tv shows like Newsradio which was cancelled in 1999 and joined the cast of ER in 1999.

Its possible, there was a site saying that the little boy that plays Joe Kovac appears in 15.20, so perhaps abby or luka makes another appearance.

I know this is an old post but Abby left as became a doctor previously and accepted a position at Boston Hospital and moved away to be with her Husband Dr Luka and their son.

Hated Abby, was glad she left. She was around for far too long.
