We used to put the PS3 on, on the weekends and we’d play singstar and me an her would belt our absolute hearts out to this song, proper going for it - I bet the neighbours hated us for it :,) it’s not easy to listen to anymore, especially on the long note. My mum could nail it every single time without fail, she had such a beautiful voice. The song was a dialogue, I believe, the opposite sides expressing their different emotions. The guilt of being the 'winner' who got the split, the other who was left suffering the loss. The one 'playing by the rules' was the one left wondering about the kisses, clearly not the 'winner' who wrote the song. People break up but only spouses suffer divorce.

Still bringing tears to my eyes. What a magnificent song.

I feel like what's missing from a lot of modern songs is the tone. Many songs would rather have a catchy tune than have music that actually makes you feel something. ABBA was great at crafting songs that not only sound good, but also create emotions within you.

Been listening to this song for decades now, but I particularly loved the way they used it in Better Call Saul. The scene says so much about the dynamics between Jimmy McGill and his brother. The way Jimmy takes pity of Chuck and reaches out to him, inviting him onstage and seeking for the approval he'll never get. Eventually to get upstaged by Chuck, who sings better than him (and Michael McKean is a bona fide great singer). Congrats to the writers for saying so much with one song (and to ABBA too, obvs).

Above all, it was to show that deep down, no matter what Chuck said to him, Chuck did care about Jimmy. Like Jimmy said, he loved him like a brother, but not as a lawyer. Chuck always saw him as Slippin Jimmy, and Jimmy proved him right every time

ABBA member Bjorn Ulvaeus wrote this after separating from wife and fellow band member, Agnetha Fältskog. It's about a divorce where one person doesn't want to separate and clings desperately to the marriage. It put Agnetha in the strange spot of being asked to sing a breakup song written by her ex-husband. Ulvaeus didn't intend it this way. He explained: "I sang a demo of it myself which a lot of people liked and said, you have to sing that. But I saw the sensible thing of course, it had to go to Agnetha. I remember coming to the studio with it and everyone said, Oh this is great, wonderful It was strange hearing her singing it. It was more like an actress doing something when she sang it, but deeply moving. Afterwards there were a few tears as well."

The strength of this song is that all 4 of them felt the pain and they penned it down on paper.Anyone who lost or broke up from someone they really loved is hit by the music and lyrics of this song like a truck.Its nothing you cant avoid but something you have to learn to go through and cope with.Life is not always easy.

Almost cryiing I see myself as a looser here ,I sacrifice my selfy belongings ,even extend to relocate just to be with my daughter who is in process of devorce but now she kick me in her house As im listening this song im in Psychiatrist hospital
