I love this song particularly since it takes me back to happier days when ABBA was my lovely mother’s favorite band in the 70’s. Her favorite was ‘Knowing Me Knowing You’ but this too was a great song from this remarkable group. I recommend more ABBA songs on your channel.

"Fernando" was my late mother's favorite ABBA song. I remember that we had two albums of theirs on 8-track tape -- "Arrival" and "Greatest Hits" -- that she would play in the car on long trips. "Money, Money, Money" was my favorite, but "Dancing Queen" takes me back to 1976. I wasn't yet ten years old.

I was, "THAT GUY", who would put Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Mountain, The Who, Steppenwolf or Black Sabbath onto my turntable and "rock out" with all of those bands. Then I could easily put John Denver, The Bee Gees, Lobo, Seals & Crofts, The Carpenters or ABBA on that same turntable and jam out with them also.

I was 9 or 10 years old listening in the 70s. You couldn’t get by not listening to ABBA on the radio each summer. Flashforward to the 90s, I was in my 30s and my girlfriend from Sweden was 23 and new ABBA well. The band is a part of her culture and history. Everyone knew their songs. This was at a time Ace of Base was the new hit band in the US from Sweden.
