Being a Swede growing up in the 70's and 80's Abba is a childhood memory where we stood in front of a mirror, with the handle from the jumping rope pretending being either Agneta or Frida.

The quality of their music is outstanding. The piano alone in this song is absolutely gorgeous, not to mention the vocals and the overall sound. I love what they`ve done here with the video.

Cool, thank you Paul, I love it! I grew up with ABBA and loved them (and still do, the music is smart, positive, I love their voices!) and this song I know by heart, didn't need the lyrics! ;-) Yes, I also got nostalgic...! Love and peace to all!

Still fresh,A class and unsurpassed.Last summer youngsters made the song's piano outro a big TIK TOK trend that also caused the increase of the views to the original video on utube.A good reason to remind us on how good "it used to be" and teach us on how "it should be".

I first heard this song when ABBA sang it during a big television UNICEF benefit concert featuring the popular bands of the time. This was in early January, 1979 while I was in my second year at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho.

Spanish version is also exceptional.

The rights to this song were donated to Unicef and have made millions of dollars for them. And Chiquitita became the biggest 'balcony song' during 2020 covid lockdown in Spain

Oh yeah you're right,inow i remember some videos had been uploaded,showing some Spanish neighbourhoods,with some "covid locked" people ,singing to the others from their balconies and then all together in unison.That was so moving, so sad but hopeful at the same time.

p.s.This song is still an hymn in a lot of Spanish speaking countries.Some kind of traditional anthem nowadays.Another fan informed us that even in Mexico this single was N01 there for over 30(!) weeks.
