1. Wardrobe- Love the flash. I'm all about flash
2. That's a weird set with the balloons. They filled it with the balloons then you couldn't see the ABBA sign.
2. I like watching this. It's great to visually see someone perform. You can see them sell the performance and sell the song and sell the mood.

Wouldn't it be nice to audibly hear them perform? Unfortunately 90% of all ABBA TV performances were playback.

one of the best
Love this one,should have been a single release. Allegedly Frida had a little drinky prior to the video plus the happiest face is the bass player why wouldn’t he lol he had the best view.

Easily in the top 5 disco track list of all ages. Fantastic piano +strings instrumental Bridge, arrangament and vocals. Smart lyrics, indeed. Extreme JOYFUL and funny video
Frida seems drunk in this performance 😂 but i love her anyway. I could listen to the bass of this song all day

Hope, one day, that you react to ABBA's "The Day Before You Came."..It's the favorite of many of their fans and it was their final recording before they split(and they knew it). It's completely different from their usual upbeat style and ahead of it's time and didn't chart so high (About No 34 in the UK). Many years after the song was recorded, Michael Tretow, ABBA's longtime sound engineer, recalled Agnetha performed the lead with dimmed lights and said that the mood had become sad. It has been said that after finishing her vocals, Agnetha removed her headphones and walked solemnly out into the daylight, never to return." Fun fact...ABBA were so popular, that they and Led Zeppelin held the record, for 36 years, for the most consecutive No1 Albums(8) in the UK (Even more than The Beatles) until recently surpassed by Eminem.

I'll never understand the appeal of that song, but it's definitely a fan favourite. I find it dull and repetitive, which I get is the point, but it makes for a pretty dull song... for me, at any rate. I'll listen to Like an Angel or Cassandra any day over The Day Before You Came.

hey jay. this obviously was not a live vocal but lip synched.. its the same as the album recording. but still was good to see them kind of sing live to this song. should have been a single here in the u.s. but it wasnt. if you havent reacted to as good as knew you should. am sure you willl like it
You definitely need to do ‘Kisses of Fire’. Brilliant song. As is this one.

The Name of the Game and Knowing Me Knowing You used the same set with balloons in the Japan concert, most of the other songs seem staged differently though.

I just don't understand why they filled that thing with fog. You couldn't see the sign or balloons after

@@jaybrielakoi7747 The whole balloon/fog thing is more distracting than anything, but I think it must have been the idea of Japanese TV rather than the group.
Definately need to look at kisses of fire and as good as new

Yeah, it's better with the video, but Frida's dancing here is almost as bad as Elaine's in "Sienfeld".

Frida is doing the most, but honestly, it's awesome. She's the feisty firecracker in the group... Agnetha was more the aloof blonde because she was a more nervous performer. Apples and oranges in terms of people's preferences.
