People of all ages enjoying the music, living in the moment and without a mobile phone in sight! ABBA were fabulous entertainers and put out hit after hit during the 70s. Love that radio stations still play their music. Great weekend marathon Chad thanks x

Wasn't it nice that people actually enjoyed and became part of the experience instead of spending a couple of hours holding up cell phones when they could have been dancing and singing?

Amazing and magical live music performance ! ...their concerts were attended by fans from all ages, countries, and demographics. This is still evident even today at their ABBA Voyage concert arena with continual sold out shows, over a million attendees since opening a year ago. So happy I had the opportunity to fly across the Atlantic a few months back and experience it. Joyfully amazing, magical ! Timeless music

(Wayne's wife:) I've always loved ABBA! It was a dream come true when my friend Amanda & I got to sing "Fernando" in our band. The guys in the band were reluctant when we first suggested the song, but we insisted. In fact, no matter how the set list changed, we made sure we always did "Fernando." The guys grew to like it! 😊

Never went to an Abba concert but they were on the radio often! But now every time I hear Abba I think of the movie “Muriel’s Wedding”. Really funny comedy about a habitual liar who just wants her life to be as good as an Abba song….all Abba soundtrack- if you’ve never seen it.

Live performances proved if you were worth the price of admission. They were. Another group that was supposedly not "cool" to like (the audience obviously disagreed) but they have stood the test of time and kicked butt. Amazing songsmiths and performers. All of them easy on the eyes for their fans and all ages loved them. A great end to the marathon! Ciao!

Good to see you again Chad!, this time with a double reaction to ABBA This was the most epic, exciting and unforgettable moment for all members of ABBA on their memorable tour of Australia in 1977. We must remember that, after ABBA's victory in Eurovision 1974 with their devastating and iconic song "Waterloo", they had a hard time repeating that success And it was in Australia that the 'ABBA' album videos were a huge success, with three consecutive #1 singles: I do I do I do I do I do, Mamma Mia (10 weeks in the Top!) and S.O.S. That reverberated in Europe, beginning with "S.O.S." an unbroken string of successes for 7 years between 1975/1982 ABBA goes to Australia in 1976 and makes a series of very successful television appearances (TV special "Best of ABBA" was a audience record, beating the 1969 Moon landing broadcast) ABBAmania was installed in Australia, the marketing was incredible: posters, t-shirts, mugs, everything had the image of ABBA Their new single "Fernando" spent 14 weeks at #1 and broke another record (from The BEATLES with "Hey Jude") in that context is the ABBA tour in the first quarter of 1977, first Europe and then Australia they had spectacular receptions (at the airport, at the municipal town hall, and at the concerts) ABBA'sfour members could not get out of their amazement, they being Swedish were adored so far away, and that is what you see in this video, which are part of the movie "ABBA The Movie" about the two songs the film reflects some songs in their entirety and others in part, but he performed them live live (there are audios without images that prove it) That is why in "Fernando" the first verse and first chorus are not seen, and then the four of them do the encore of the choir together standing in front of the audience singing with them, it is a moment of great communion and it is reflected in the joy and emotion of the four members of ABBA (especially Frida and Agnetha) then comes the final number, "Dancing Queen", with the audience exploding into dance and ABBA doing one of their best live performances, unforgettable and emotional the quality of ABBA live is extraordinary, for their concert tour they brought a special choir and twice as many musicians, to maintain the same level of their productions in the recording studio In some songs even their live performances are better than the records of the recording studio You could see it if you do other songs like "He is your brother" from the same Australia 1977, or "Summer Night City" in London 1979 we keep seeing each other in your videos kind regards from Buenos Aires, Argentina South America

I was at the infamous Sydney concert as a kid back in 1977. Absolutely poured with rain which you see in the film. All outdoors and no escaping from the rain. Back then you didn't have to stay in your seat and you were free to wander back and forth to the stage. Soundwise it was better to be in the middle of the Showground because upfront the speakers were so enormous that you mostly heard the low rumbling bass and you missed a lot of the vocal. In the middle, your view was not so great but you had better sound. You ended up going back and forth to experience both. I think the ticket back then was about $7 or $9 AUS which at the time was incredibly expensive! I still have my ticket somewhere.

ABBA is my fourth favorite artist. I love so many of their songs, including the two in this reaction! But, I've listened to all of their songs and I don't really think they have any bad ones, even out of the ones I’ve never really gotten into. I second what Juanita said. You really should listen to the studio version of, at least, “Fernando”, as they didn’t sing the full song in the live performance you reacted to. Plus, it'll give you a clearer listen. Thanks for another great marathon! I look forward to next week's!

Yeah but one thing is to sing a very well known song in a place were you are at that moment, and a different thing is to pay for and travel to an ABBA show. Take a look at the ABBA Voyage video reviews and you'll see few young people. I'm going in July with my children (14 yrs old) and they had no idea nor listen to the group. Anyway's I'm pretty sure they will like it.
