Im sorry for your loss, a beautiful rendition of the classic for your mom. The beauty of playing this for her is that the fun, fast, and upbeat version was when mom was on earth with you, and now that she rests, a beautiful, slow, and comforting version played for her. When I was younger and the internet was new to us all the fascinating part was that you could find old songs. My dad had a request to find a song and that song was dancing queen by abba. My younger sister and I laughed because it was so abstract from what we listened to. My dad thought it was one of the most beautiful songs. I would continue to listen to this over and over until I too saw the beauty. Over the years during the good times or bad times this song would randomly come on and remind me that I need to call my dad. During my dads final days of battling cancer I played this for him and told him my story with this song and played it for him again and I played it again after he took his last breath. I want to thank you dad for everything you did for me and always leading with love. It’s been a little over a month now and I’m still having a hard time coping with your departure. I hope one day I can learn to see the beauty in life again the same way you showed me the beauty in this song. Rip Dad I love you!
