Abandoned Untouched Time Capsule House with Human Remains and Guns Found

Ойын-сауық

This abandoned time capsule house was a very odd location, the owners had both been passed for at least two years, and during this time there had been zero activity on the property.
Power and heat still running, but the exterior never maintained, grass not cut and driveway never plowed in the winter time.
Watched for the entire time by some local explorers, they finally decided it was time to make an attempt , the found the house was entirely open and unsecured.
I would come to learn that the home was owned by a man a woman. The man, who came from Hong Kong was a Mechanical Engineer. He completed his apprenticeship in Hong Kong in the 1960's and continued his work once he moved to Canada. In 1970 he received his certificate in Mechanical Technology in 1970 from Ryerson.
He had been married and was divorced in 1981.
His second wife had moved to Canada from Germany in 1969, while I can't find much about her, it seems she had suffered a debilitating stroke sometime around 2015/2017.
By 2020, both husband and wife had passed away.
Inside the home, there were two urns containing the ashes of people, however there were no names or identification to go along with the urns. One urn was a simple white urn, the other was a wooden urn with native carvings and imagery on it.
The home was built in 1988 and described as am 1800 sq ft single family bungalow with two bedrooms.
Oddly, there was a real estate listing that had this home for rent on a one year lease with photos of the interior of the home messy and in disarray. Items tossed on the floor, messy counter tops, messy dressers, dirty carpets and unmade beds.
I would learn that several items had been removed from the home and it appeared that much of the home had been tossed with no care for the items or contents.
As of today, several months following my visit with s0s1nc3r3, the home can still be found in this condition, abandoned, overgrown and uncared for

I have a hard time believing this house was conveniently “just open” to explore. At some point folks, you’re not “exploring”, you’re trespassing. This house probably is part of the families estate. It’s not abandoned, someone still owns the property. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy exploration of old houses, but honestly dude.., if you don’t have the property owners consent, you shouldn’t be in this one.

Yeah, I don't think this house is abandonded. this time it's trespassing and not exploring. The owners could have gone to a nursing home or if they have died, the estate could still be in probate and owned by the heirs. The fact that the electricity is still being paid tells me that the property isn't abandoned.

My wife and I watched (along with a group of bystanders) a group of “Explorers” get arrested just before Thanksgiving. The house and property was still owned by the family. I think a lot of people that do these videos don’t understand that just because a home or property is vacant, does not mean it’s abandoned. What I really find shocking is this guy made it known to everyone watching that a firearm is in the home. Seriously, can you be any more irresponsible! All the crazy out there and this guy is advertising that a firearm is still in the home.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to cry foul, the telescope is "recently missing" but the "guns are still there"?! You'd better believe that if that telescope was taken by anyone BUT the family the house would've been completely tossed, and those guns would've definitely been long gone! Yeah, this is definitely Trespassing/B&E because there's no way this guy (or his friend) should be in this particular house. I'm all for exporing the old run down and clearly "abandoned" mansions, etc. But anyone with a shred of common sense can tell this house is still being accessed by the family of the deceased. And seriously dude, are you really stupid enough to broadcast all over YT that there's guns in a "vacant house"?! Sorry bro, I'm afraid there'll be no cool points from me for this vid..

Not if you setup some cameras have sim card in them sends pictures right to your phone buddy set some up at his cabin. Every person who trespassed was caught because the road is 3 miles back to the main highway by the time they got done looking for shit to steal the sheriff was just turning down that road they be heading out. One guy tried to run but they caught his ass ran his car off the road. Every single one of them were arrested charged one guy stole a welder he got charged with a felony. Took about a year and then word got around not to screw with that cabin no more trespassing or burglaries.

This house doesn’t look totally abandoned. If the power is connected, someone must be paying the bills. I think someone is looking after the property, until all the legal business, regarding ownership, is sorted out. It looks like the owners have passed away and the legal affairs are being sorted out, which can be a long process.

  • @1979bobhd

    @1979bobhd

@Alasdair Vincent • Absolutely ! The owners passed away and if the property went into probate that can take several years for the States Probate Court to get all arranged, which is why if you live in a probate State you have to protect yourself by putting everything into a Family Trust that way the state can't touch it and hold up anybody inheritance. In this case it looks to me that the state put it in probate and we know how fast state agencies move, they would also have put a state employee in charge of looking after and maintaining the property and we can see they are doing a great job. Also why would take a telescope and leave guns ? I'm pretty sure like 99.999% sure the state is holding this property in probate which is not the same as if the state was holding it for unpaid taxes if that were the state would have held the Auction by now. All I can say is stay out I would hate to get caught in or on the property and be arrested for trespassing and theft even if you did not take the telescope.

Exactly. One seems to be originally from another country perhaps, so the relatives may not be in the US which would make it take even longer possibly. I would also be concerned with the bed in the basement where it looked like someone passed away. Could be something contagious is the reason they were quarantined to the basement while sick.

@@1979bobhd You sound like you know what you’re talking about. My mother passed two years ago. She had what we (my sister and I) thought was an ironclad Trust. Our brother is trying to get it all! He’s taken this to court and I’m out of state and only collecting Social Security. I can’t even afford to defend myself. My sister got a crappy lawyer and so far she has spent $30,000 trying to convince the court the Trust should stand. But the house in FL is only worth about $80,000. Even if she wins her third, she loses. I’m furious. I could really use some money for much needed dental work and a better car, mine being 20 years old and needing work. It’s hard to believe that our brother (who was estranged from the entire family for 20+ years) can take away everything. If you have any advice, maybe you could text me in N.M. at 505-473-2233. Thank you! 🙏🏼

This place is definitely not abandoned! My grandmother fell and had to go to a nursing home. She always hoped she'd be able to return to her house, so it remained empty. Unfortunately she was never able to return but the house was easily empty for a year, and after she passed even longer while in probate. The outside of her home was also overgrown because no family lived close enough to regularly tend it. Someone's paying electricity, this is not abandoned! Trespassing, touching all their stuff! Wish there was some way to alert the family so they could secure the residence better. I hope no one stole the telescope - who knows if it was meant to go to a grandchild or something.

Cut down the weeds lock doors post signs let the place go like that it will attract the wrong people.

So the individuals you said are both dead, looks like, family cremated the bodies and placed the two containers inside the home closed and locked the doors. And walked away. So in all actuality the home itself is the burial tomb.

The house is in great condition with a nice decorations. That hospital bed made me think of my dad & how we had outside nurses coming over to his house to help him until he passed. Its how the natural progression of life happens. If the person died & was not able to make a Will the legal heirs can have a long road ahead of them. Even with a Will it takes time to settle everything among the heirs to the estate. With no executor that in itself can be a real mess legally.

I see a house where love, arguments, laughter, tears, life and death once existed. I hope there are living relatives that can save this house from being looted and vandalized. This house needs to have people living in it again, more so, it deserves to belong to someone. I would hate to see it looted and vandalized. The game is called a "pachinko" and it is of Japanese origin. Like bagatelle, it's a precursor to what evolved into pinball, but it stayed very popular in Japanese culture and was modernized into electronic form (I have one I restored). It's a gambling machine of sorts - the player would get a bucket of steel balls for some amount of money from the vendor, and play. When the balls fall into the small target pockets, the game plays chimes and pays out stored bonus balls. The player could collect these balls and cash them out with the vendor. When running with a full complement of balls, they can be quite loud!

I feel weird about this video. I'm watching a guy breaking and entering a home that is obviously not "abandoned" since the lights are still on. The owner may have passed away but due to covid the family might be stuck in another country and unable to come and deal with everything. Imagine finally able to come home just to find that someone went through all of your belongings and even possibly taken some things.

What a cool house! I like the design with the open spaces and the openings in the walls to give maximum light. They also had good taste is decoration; the wallpaper is muted, the colors go well together, apparently they kept the place immaculate, the TV is NOT the center of their living room or their lives, and obviously they enjoyed living there, I know I would! Really a good find and a very good video tour. Many of the comments say that because the electric is on then someone is still paying the bill. I watch as many urbex videos as I can and I remember on one that was just about in ruins but the current had been on for 96 MONTHS!

As a scientific paranormal investigator for some years I can quite categorically state with some certainty that the "orbs" were nothing more than dust particles that were disturbed by the movement of people in the room. The powerful led lighting causes reflection that is picked up by the optics of the camera. Don't get me wrong, I defiantly believe in life after death but dust reflection is not a spirit orb!

Here in the northern states we have what we call 'snow birds'. Retirees that spend the winter months in Florida or Arizona. Many times they eventually start spending most of their time in the south but still maintain their other home. Its not abandoned. You need to start going to the local city assessors website and check the address for owner info before you go into homes like this. At some point the owners of this house are going to see this video and charge you.

Not sure how you confirmed that the owners "passed". Tags on the car are 2019, the year prior to Covid. Power appears to be on in the house (unlikely if abandoned). The Asian food items and utensils lead me to believe the owners could have traveled to another country and may not have the ability to return at this time due to travel restrictions. Sorry brother, this was trespassing and self incrimination, not "exploring". The human remains and hospital bed were not nearly as sad as you breaking into someone's house and posting it all over the web. If it were my house, you would be prosecuted.

You'd be surprised how long it takes to get property / wills / probate issues solved when someone dies and has family members fighting about who gets what. Most likely there is a will and perhaps the person went to assisted living / nursing home and could have died more recently. With covid, a lot of things having to do with court and lawsuits have been delayed longer than usual too. Just wanted to add a bit of context to your comment and it's a sad situation that happens too often.

Lock the property, notify the police that it is open to intruders+ go home to remove this video before the owner / police see it because trespass carries heavy penalties.

If that was my home and I happen to catch you in there you'd catch a severe beating and charges pressed.

I would live here! It is sad that the owners died, yet are there no relatives? I'd buy this right now. Thanks for showing this amazing lovely home.

There more than likely are relatives, especially since the power is still on, which is a dead giveaway that this house and all of it's contents are in probate, so this place is not abandoned at all and everyone that goes in it are trespassing and breaking and entering. I'd be furious if one of my loved one's passed away and while their estate was in probate, a bunch of "explorer's" broke in and went snooping through all of their belongings. If it were me, I'd have every one of them charged.

@@egryeyes I believed as much. In many cases the homes should be better closed up. If things are being stolen and ransacked. It would not take long before someone found the home and truly messed it up. The people who video these should not be hard to find and prosecute. Though I enjoy watching the old abandoned run down places, perhaps I'm as guilty as the people video taping this particular home. Thank you for your Input.

That pin ball game you're playing is a vintage Pachinko machine from the 1950's or earlier. They're very collectable. Those machines work by dumping allot of balls into the ramp and you basically rack up "points" and are rewarded with more balls that come out of the black chute. They're electro mechanical games. It would've had lights on it and bells that would go off if you got the balls in the openings besides the bottom. My uncle had one like that and as a kid I play on it when my parents visited. My uncle and my dad would both play that same game as kids.
