I love going back to these old videos. I’m about to start my first real mini truck build on my 88. S-10 and I have to do a half frame from the firewall back using 2 x 4 tubing. I remember this video being very informational about four links and angles and geometry. Thanks for all your videos! Keep them coming, buddy

@@PuddinsFabShop I would legit buy a Datsun pick-em-up if I had the money. I had to pay off my truck and my ex-finance’s as both vehicles were in my name. I would like to restore one to its original glory but not as a lowrider. Maybe, one in some cool Metallic Blue-Purple color changing paint or Metallic Orange. Aftermarket dash and seats.

This has easily become my new favorite channel on you tube. Hands down. I love the will it runs and fab both. It's almost an addiction at this point. Keep makin em , I'll keep watchin em.

I know pretty much know how to get them running and I like videos like that. I know nothing at all about fab work on one, but I found out in this video that I like that as well. I would very much like a mixture of the two on your channel if thats something you want to do. But honestly as entertaining as you are, you could probably make a leaf raking video fun to watch. Lol. I've had to deal with crooked concrete too. The easiest way I've found is a bunch of junkyard scissor jacks. The beauty is they are cheap and fully adjustable. Regardless, you got it done. Nice work!

I love it when you goof about but its good to see you doing the fab work too. You're right, you don't need a full machine shop to make a chassis, you just have to be patient and not afraid to redo a part if you mess it up or change your mind. Nothing worse than not being happy with something and not re-doing it because its going to nag at you for years after! This video is loaded with great ideas about how to get the chassis straight wihout needing a perfect floor and expensive build jigs.

I am working on a car that I built in high school 45 years a go. I drove it as a daily driver for a while. I didn't realize how bad my work was back then. My fab work today all started back then. I build show quality stuff now. Thats why I'm redoing this car now. It was so bad I couldn't sell it for fear my name would still be attached to it. I't mine forever I guess. Good luck fixing yours.

That frame has gotta be 10x stronger than the original ever was, and that's saying something! I once loaded 3000 lbs of roofing shingles into mine ('83 King Cab) and it didn't hurt it one bit. Did make the front wheels dance a bit while going around corners, though. 😁
