    I made a lot of those back in the day, but it was for a different software, and i'll probably make some for Blender in the future eventually But currently, the course is 100% the priority

    Make sure you're in edit mode and have an active selection. It should work for faces and edges as well, but it works best for vertices

    Not necessarily in THIS course, but i'll for sure do something in that nature in the future In this one, im using a HDRI, some volumetrics and a lot of nice compositing tricks, and the end result looks pretty if you ask me

    I didnt make any materials from scratch in this one (because procedural materials are hard to make lool good and any detail would be too much for a beginner course) I rely on image textures and optimized mask painting - the return of value is much greater when you're using an image texture
