The first time i came here i fell in love with this masterpiece ! Everthing still inside there since the left around 1952 for an unkown reason . It realy shows the respect people have around this part of europ for other people's stuff . Hey thanks for watching! Have a good one and we see you next week

I say it every time I watch you, but I love the respect and adoration you have for antiques and the decay....... It's rare to see young adults with that these days. They make everything disposable now, the craftsmanship of the places you visit just isn't around anymore.

Jacklyn Collins, this is how most european people are. They show respect for other peoples properties. They are not the kind of people, that go into abandoned places and start destroying things. Like they to here in the USA or some middle eastern countries. Allot of times those buildings stay there until they are beyond repair and get torn down or maybe get restored. This is how european people are raised !

I am an American, and not all Americans destroy abandoned buildings and places. I was raised to respect people's property that is not my own. I have seen vandalism in other European urbex videos. It's not good to make generalizations about nationalities.

The exception to this is people in the UK. If that house was here it would be stripped of any scrap metal then kids would come in and burn it down after kicking the walls down. After taking a shit in the bedroom.

addistubbs : I remember those fro Italy, but my grand mother would make me sit in front of her with arms outstretched and she would either put a skein on them or wound a skein, I don't remember to well. The side of the mattress he touched and squeezed was filled with wool like in Italy, the poorer people used horse hair, the poorest used corn husks ( the husks rustled when you tossed and turned (it was fun to hear the noise)Did you notice the chamber pot under the bed? Every body rich and poor used it. As a little boy I liked, it was better than using the toilet. You had to be careful not to trip over it.

Agree the two items to the left of the unknown group of things in the attic are yarn swifts (the leftmost one is particularly nice); the barrel-shaped object to the right of the group is a butter churn, I believe, and the long stick-like object is probably a distaff, used when spinning fibers like flax/linen or hemp.

I think one of the kids did survive the war and return to the home for a while....that newspaper from '53. and judging by the model airplane and level of schoolwork that child would been too young to be constricted into the war....and perhaps came home after and stuck it out there for a few years after.

It never ceases to amaze me how these places are respectfully left intact after so many years. I also wonder why relatives do not recover the value of some of these items. It seems strange to just let a property rot away. The answer of course is the accumulation of material things in our lifetime become meaningless after we are gone. They are just items, they are not us. I would think they have historical value though to someone. Do you feel sad sometimes as you wander?

The handwritten notes at desk top- such beautiful penmanship. Here in Canada and USA we teachers cannot teach writing (cursive) anymore - only printing. Such a lost art. It's sad that students cannot read writing. Reason for not teaching? People only need to print as most things done by key board. That notebook demonstrates why so important. Primary sources almost always in handwriting. What an injustice we do to the youth.

Hey, greetings from Virginia (USA). I have been obsessed with urban decay/abandoned exploration for some time now. Some crews are really good. Others, not so much. I just found you! I love your commentating and how smooth your camera work is. Very nice. Your English is terrific and you both have such charming accents. It's completely lovely. I love how dedicated you are to not trashing or changing anything. You are both so compassionate about what you are doing. You do it with such kindness and consideration for the people that had to leave their lives to abandon and decay. I share the decay exploration with my grandkids and yours is one of the KZread sites that is very kind, family friendly and not full of cussing every other word. I'm not against colorful expletives, I use them myself when warranted (or after a good beer or two around the fire) But, some of these fellas and ladies can't say a sentence with out an MF! Well, gotta git. Just wanted to give credit where credit is due. Keep on doing what your doing. It works. By the way, you are both just so darned cute. Sincerely, Miss Ellie a.k.a Nana : )

Wow, just Wow!! You guys are everything everyone has said!! Being Native American I love so many different cultures, so much is sacred to Natives and we keep our ways of our ancestors and our ways of old alive. I live in the south, USA and I know how much has been destroyed here in America, sadly. I love the furniture, its gorgeous!!!!!! someone mentioned about restoring it. I think its a wonderful idea!! I have a son who Owens his own business, actually 2...He tears down huge barns and homes in Texas and Florida. He refurbishes the wood and makes and has made the most beautiful furniture, accent walls and especially has done businesses in pubs, coffee shops, act. Also, private homes. Saving this wood, fixtures, ext is a must and should never be allowed to waste, causing more trees to be cut. I absolutely loved your videos and I get an amazing feeling seeing everything!! Your passion and the respect you show, shows how much respect you guys have in what you do and what you see. Thank you so much for giving us a peek into so much history of different cultures and the lives left behind. Your just the best!! love from Florida, USA!!

Starchaser 16 Yes sir your right. I agree 100%. So very much has been destroyed here in the U.S. I'm a white man and I just want to say I'm sorry for what my ancestors stole and took from your ancestors. It was completely wrong, selfish, and greedy. Not to mention all the unnecessary killing. I look around everyday and think of how people are destroying this beautiful land. If the white man would have never stepped foot on Native American soil, I know that today it would be the most wonderful place on the planet. So again please accept my apologie on behalf of my ancestors. It's all I have to offer.

+Douglas Hayden Hello!! Awe thank you, but I have no ill feelings, but you're right. It would be gorgeous for sure, in a lot of places. I love nature and when that's gone, nothing is left. We all should blame these elite families, dynasties, people who only wanted power, greed and more money. The Native American genocide was the biggest in U.S. history, its just buried deep away, even fron history books in school. But, the truth is out there. We all have been slaves throughout history and when you think about it you will see, ..many came here for a better Life, its just the government had a much more sinister plan. nothing was Sacred to them and they wanted this land at all cost. Its very sad but, we are here and my people Still to this day fight for just clean water on Their land they live on. No one truly owns Mother earth and one day, these elite families will fall by their own hands. Blessings

Starchaser 16 Thank you so very much for responding. You couldn't have said that any better. As a father of 7 children, I tell them the truth about Native Americans that the history books do not teach. My great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee, and Although I look, walk and talk like a white man, my mindset, even as a child has had a connection with Mother Earth. I hope that in some way somehow I have inherited that. I live in Ohio, and I would like to say once again, Thank you for responding. Your friend Douglas Hayden.

I believe this home may have belonged to a Jewish family as there were no displays of religious motifs or decorations. Quite a lot of their belongings are gone too, which indicates that they knew they weren't coming back and took all they could when they left the home. One can only hope that they made it to freedom...

I got the impression they were Jewish too. A lot emigrated following the war and could have gone to Israel as they had the chance after the war. Also many ended up in USA and UK. It does look as if they took what they could carry.

Doe zo verder ! Oma Lieve

Hi Bros of Decay! I love your "work". You lend such a warmth in your videos. I sure wish you guys would wear masks!! I shudder every time I see you in these beautiful places with led paint and so much toxic mold. While the old wallpaper is beautiful, some of the colors are made from pigments with high levels of arsenic in the green tones. Try not to touch :(. Love your work! PLEASE take good care...so you can do this until your old!

esockell , yes, somebody else told them to wear masks. They said they started wearing masks. But they really do need to wear gloves as well. Then somebody commented that the green the wallpaper is arsenic so they need to be very careful. Somebody else commented that the down pillows had bed bugs on them so they need to be very careful around them too. It is very easy to carry bed bugs home and very expensive to get rid of. I love this exploring of old homes. I just now have found this today. I will be watching more. Fascinating!

I just discovered your channel this morning and I must say that I love this house!! I could spend days in there just looking at every single item. I try to imagine what the house looked like on the last day the owner lived in it. Or the last Christmas or Birthday. So sad that no one loves this house anymore. It was once loved and lived in. You two have a very nice channel so I will subscribe today! Thanks for the beauty that is in your country!
