Abandoned five star hotel projects in Onitsha and what you need to know.
Onitsha is a large commercial city and the biggest urban area in Anambra and South-East Nigeria.
Over the years, there has been serious lack of good hospitality infrastructures in Onitsha that is befitting for the size of the city. People do believe Onitsha residents don't patronize hospitality, but those are all illusion.
Few years back, these two massive hotel projects were kicked off and everyone rejoiced that Onitsha will finally have standard hotels that will improve hospitality in the city. The excitement was short-lived as the projects got abandoned midway.
Onitsha people have been worried and asking questions about why work stopped in those hotel projects.

Also, you like to delay yourself from getting to the point. These two things will cause people to always click out of the video. I know you delay from getting to the point to keep folks anticipating. The truth is that there is nothing like hotel life in Onitsha, if you invest your money on hotel business in Onitsha you will lose.

I doubt so. Check out SOPROM hotel and dolly hills in Onitsha. Soprom hotel is the most patronized hotel in Anambra state. You can really say if Onitsha will patronize good hotels or not when they're yet to have them. Those are mere stereotypical assumptions

@@UbanizedMedia I understand you but the truth still remain that our people are not good with hotel life like it was in Lagos and Abuja, our way of life is different, most of our people go to hotel to Lodge and nothing more, so if you are building a five star hotel expecting people to always visit there you are just wasting your money, there are many activities in Igbo land people may prefer to go than to go and relax in a hotel, our people even patronized all this small small hotels due to kidnapping that is going on, if not for the kidnapping most of this hotels will go bankrupt, you can't build a mansion in the village, go and sleep in a hotel, this is my opinion.
