Abandoned farm house with some cool stuff in it.
I went out yesterday and filmed this abandoned farm house out at northern nsw Australia. I'd been past it so many times over the years and was never too sure if some one lived there but after seeing the side window open during very heavy rain I had my suspicions it was empty and off exploring I went. It became apparent that the last owner was a single male from some of the things that were in the house and the huge lack of a female presence. I absolutely love the stove and the old fan. If anyone from northern nsw Australia knows of any abandoned dwellings they think I might like to film, please send me a private message.
side note the fancy editing was just to celebrate my 1000 subscribers so don't worry I'll go back to keeping it simple after this until I reach 2000 subs :)

It's beautiful! Would love to clean up & remodel this place to make it into a home for someone.
The stove was made in 1959. The burners slide inside the stove. It was marketed as "jet age cooking for the bachelor gourmet". I would love to have a stove like that.
That cooking stove, wow, have never seen anything like it but I liked it. Thanks for the explore :)
After 40 years we still haven't progressed much about 'Banishing Wrinkles' ..lol.. Amazing how advertising can still fool the modern generations.
Hey now! To the naysayers on this, his videos are among 3 or 4 that I consider the best. And why, just because someone’s breathing sounds a little off to you, do we assume the worst? This guy rocks and finds some of the coolest places! One of my absolute favs!

My breathing was pretty bad at the time since I'd not long had part of my lung removed 😉
even after several years of abandonment, the house is amazing and I would fix it up in a heartbeat. Really nice stove too :D
I really liked that stove with all 4 burners side by side.Never seen one like that before.
Wow! That photo of the loggers! Awesome. Cool Coffeepot. And neat bedframes too. I'll bet the place looked pretty nice at one point.
You're so respectful & appreciative. I love that.
Cool 1965 newspaper! Year I was born! I'm subscribed and liking, thanks!

HipFit SoooGood year I was born too!
Hello! I'm a new subscriber from Missouri, USA. I'd never seen a stove like that before. I love the design.
It happened to my parents house while dad was at the funeral home, so it really does exist. It happens in the Chicago area frequently, so I'm not so dumb after all. Just very aware.
Rats moved in after he moved out. Must be a heaven there, as I never saw so much Rat doody. I have the same style wee pressure cooker you see on top of the wood stove.
Thanks for moving a little slower for us old people! And yes, being American myself I can say that houses here usually get trashed and stolen from. It is also nice to see other countries I'll never get to visit, so thanks for that too. I've seen other stoves like that one and usually the burner area slides in when not in use, The small oven is also cool for cooking small items. Also, look at how huge those old growth trees are.

My prospective on stuff is that it's just stuff. Personally, I love things. I've been building an eclectic collection of items and while I hope that my children, relatives, and friends would care for my things by incorporating them into their own homes or distributing them as they see fit. If by chance my stuff was left to rot and be destroyed like this I would be A-OK with someone like this explorer taking items that they adore. These antiques are so special. There will come a day when they are hardly even a memory. I hate to see them waste away. Lastly, I do have items that were given to me by dear ones who have died, and they mean the most to me. Other stuff I've picked up at sales etc. ..are wonderful too, but finding stuff is downright exciting.
That was a great, old place! Thanks for showing the newspapers! I loved that! Great video 👍 🙋🕊️🕊️
Nice walk through! Enjoyed looking at this ole place. Agree with Amanda this could be a handyman special and turned into a nice place to live.
I like your exploration. Thank you for sharing😊
Congratulations Hun keep up the great work x
3:42 I used to have one of them fans - was mesmerizing watching it swivel. It's really heavy too because of it's cast iron base.
Congratulations!! love your house "tours". (I was born 5 days after the August newspaper -- very cool to see that)
Love to remodel old chair on porch, old doors wood yeah
The cart in that b&w photo it is amazing how much load it takes, they dont make them like that anymore. You seem to have 7000+ subs now. . ."chicken dinners babe, chicken dinners"
At 5:26 My great aunt has the exact same oven/stove!! So retro! Great vid BTW!
What was odd was one cupboard was full of very clean dishes? Huggs, silky
YAY!! ON TO A MILLION SUBS!!!
So glad to see toilet seat was down and so pleased you didn't lift it! I love that old stove or cooker or whatever you want to call it. Thanks for sharing.
It makes me really sad to see these beautiful houses abandoned, when I would love so much to make one a home for my family. I live in Ohio and I have watched beautiful homes rot until they have collapsed. Homes that are historical. Plots of property that lay untouched. Also, that is a kick ass stove! Why the heel don't they make them like that?
Incredible, Michael you were so pleased at 1000 subscribers now standing at 15000. Well done still humble and grateful and making terrific video's for all to see and share. From this subscriber a big thank you!

THAT PLATE WORTH SOME MONEY I LOOKED IT UP 1 PLATE 30 US
I explored a lot of abandoned buildings and homes in Melbourne wow the architecture ....
whoever this family were i hope those children are leading good lives with children of their own ❤
I really like that cooking stove, I've never seen one with the burners all in a row. Is that common in your country? The bed sure was pretty. Would that be Art Deco? I love it. Do you think it has been abandon since around 1965? I do hope the bugs and other critters weren't running around on his clean dishes, stove and counters while he was still living there. At 17:15 is that the base of a communication tower? Thanks for sharing you adventure with me, at least there wasn't a dead animal in this one. Take care and happy exploring.
Sorry to hear about your lung surgery. Maybe now I understand a bit more. Love your accent, love your videos. I subscribed to you. I might give it a go with videos this summer if summer ever comes. I’ll welcome and respect your feedback. We’ve yet to see Spring this year and it is the middle of April. We are forecast for 6-10 inches of MORE SNOW in two days time. And then Depression set in...
I like the enter announcement,here we go....lol
I love this house can I move in now today
Groovy man real Groovy
that tire alone is worth something! !!!
thanks for sharing----cool stuff---:-) :-) :-)
In the rain forest where I live the only way you could search a house empty since 1965 is with a metal detector.
Never seen a stove oven combo like that one before, very unique. I can imagine sitting out on that porch, enjoying the view in the evenings. Interesting explore, thanks again and congrats!
7 years ago. Now he has 20,000 subscribers. I enjoy the history which mk finds a way to delve into these past lives.
whoa you really get around! You are a Britt, in America, houses look like Plains farm houses...
Great job at hitting your 1000! Have been really enjoying your channel.

I dont live far from Mallanganee and you will find this place was from some old farmer- where family have moved him to a nursing home..justbe careful about trespassing..
Nice find. ..especially the industrial stove/oven. Thanks for the tour.
Nice vid. Thanks for sharing. Looks like some renovation was started not so long ago, when the items were stacked in the outbuilding. Perhaps the Van Gogh print is the blueprint? Nice stock saddle, wonder if a long dead horse is buried outside. I went to a camp 40 miles inside the western sahara from the Red Sea. Nice abandoned stone house, it looked like the livestock were abandoned too, I found their skeletons under the scrawny trees.

anotherblonde That is horrible. How sad for the animals.
good videos, shout out from the USA.
Thanks for sharing the reason for your heavy breathing. Now I won't imagine you as a beer drinking thong wearing Aussie! Maybe you are. I watch Vids like this from all over the world and I love your Australian houses the best. Oh and the little orange teapot you picked up in this old abandoned farmhouse is exactly the same as one my Mother has and it was brought from a cheap shop in the 90's. Not a treasure but a good little pot to drink tea from. Happy house hunting.
Thank you so much for sharing your interesting video. I realize here in America our abandoned home's are usually vandalised however this isn't true with other countries.
The stove burners would slide in under the oven. They were popular in the 60s in the US. Even Elvis had one in his kitchen. I had a pressure cooker like the one on the shelf and miss it because I wore it out.
Need to wear a good mask in those old places, mold ,dust etc !
may God bless this house and it r,I,p,
Good video with your phone 👍
You know, you and me, we think alike! I'll be thinking, "Hmm, I wonder what's in that drawer?" and then you go and open that drawer! Or I'll be wondering what the date is on that newspaper and then you go and zoom in on the paper! (It's a rather cool ESP-esque trick we've got going between NSW and upstate NY, ha ha!) Do prefer it when you're talking, though. Your running commentaries are insightful and (often) humorous and I like that in an abandoned explore for it gets a little spooky when it's too quiet (I actually jumped when you opened the first door and it squeaked on it's hinges! Maybe I need to stop watching these in the wee hours of the morning when I can't sleep and the house is quiet, eh? You make the best abandoned videos, Michael, thanks for letting us tag along! :)

Tara Faulkner Thank you :)
We already saw the name, lol. Feel better.
Congrats! Enjoy all your videos!
you had me laughing at 9 on the scale when you showed some bush wacker hanging and your laughing how it stinks in there ,what the heck was that conical stink bomb ?
Enjoyed it and you`ll get better at it as you progress. Please don`t touch things as the minute you do you can be charged with breaking and entering - even if you don`t take anything. Just looking out for you mate :) Thanks for taking the time to post too and keep`em coming
I have just discovered and subscribed to your channel. I remain amazed at how people just "wander off" and leave so much stuff behind. Whilst some may have died, others just seem to head into the sunset. The abandoned beach camp video I watched fascinates me as well. Love to know the story behind that one. Do you ever go on to research the owners and their circumstances? Keep doing what you are doing. I'm loving it.
Congratulations! You desereve a million more💋
Australia looks like such a cool place. Your explores bring it a little closer. Great job keep up the explore. Really enjoy them :)
Big congratulations on reaching your 1,012 subscribers! I'm fairly new and really, really enjoy your videos.Thank you

I subbed to so 3 until 2000. btw I liked the mans highway map of N.W.T. I instantly recognised the Polar Bear logo! Wonder if he maybe worked there or went on holiday there.
I know this was a while ago but...congrats anyway on the subscribers! I have a long way to go but...I'm patient 😊. Great little house and thanks for sharing!
congrats on your 1k
OMGolly - I have never seen a stove like that! Love it!
Loved the logging photo!
I am 1020 , great stuff Michael xx
Sad that people would cut down such old trees.
The house has been empty since 1965 (newspaper). Your just using camera phone?? Cool.. Just added you as subscriber.. Great video..

THE COF IN CABINET SAID EXP DATE 2000 AT9:13
I wonder why this family left all these things. Maybe it's because the house is in such a remote area, but it's odd to see it not ransacked and such. In America, at least in the other urbex videos I've seen, drug addicts and thieves will look through every square inch of an abandoned property looking for money and valuables. It's nice to see a house in a pristine state just how the owner left it. What's the strangest or weirdest thing you've come across so far in your adventures?
Looked like Doug Anthony's picture in that newspaper
We all love you Michael and all your videos

Thanks for uploading this explore. Have watched this one a few times. I’d rather rewatch your videos than some of the other dross online especially when pinned to my bed. So many interesting things there. Loved the 1917 logging photo; that would have been a hard life. The Bushells tea caddy was a nice find too.
Great job!...... Subbed you!
wow what an old house. you said 1917 right? at least 99 years old for that painting u showed.
Interesting house 🏠
HI I love your chanel you do an awesome job and I love seeing the old Aussie houses and buildings . If you want to do something a little different and see an awesome house that is unfortunately not vacant but it is the creepiest house in Australia and its in Junee near Wagga see Monticristo . It is the most haunted house in here and its beautiful and old and now used as a bed and breakfast but they do tours .Oh yeah you and I have something in comon we both hate those huge scary spiders that creep us out LOL.😀
Love the videos babes, keep ‘me coming. Love ALL your vids 👍🏳️🌈
Goodday i live in south africa with in a week there would be nothing to film just maybe a few bricks.wonderful to watch the old farmhouses.good luck please keep up filming
I wonder if the person that lived there was in that picture ? or maybe the Father riding on the logs ?
Hey, In my town, Orange NSW, the hospital is abandoned, been a few years now, I know loads have gone in there, but I'm too scared to, don't want to get caught lol .. I'd love to go in there though :)

Peter Wherrett when i face somthing i want to do but am reluctant i just get drunk first! After that its no problem!
Would have had a wood stove originally where the slow combustion heater is now, then it would have been replaced with a bicket stove, then the electric stove would have replaced them in the fifties or sixties.
It looked like the yard inside the fence had been mowed down at some point ? Another good find!!!!!!
I am wondering if this house was accommodation for the farm hands, it just doesn't feel like it was a family home.
How are you doing? Treatments going OK? Wish you all the best. Depending on the brand, that old fan on the shelf could be worth a pretty penny! $100-$500. Very collectible here in US.
