Exploring Abandoned Casino Boat with Craps And Poker Tables
The Catfish Bend Casino Boat was a massive, 3-story tall, almost 14,000 square foot casino boat that was docked in a small marina in the City of Fort Madison, Iowa. had everything a patron could ever want. The first and second floors both featured all of the gambling amenities from poker to craps; from slot machines to roulette. There were numerous bars located throughout the first and second floor as well. The third floor consisted of what was the restaurant and banquet hall. This is where the patrons gathered to eat meals during their time on the casino boat. Although the Catfish Bend Casino Boat was a relative success, it could not survive the Great Recession of 2008. The Catfish Casino Boat was completely shuttered by 2008. Unfortunately, it has sat abandoned every since. In recent years, the Catfish Bend Casino Boat has been moved to another marina where it sits today.

Awesome video!! The boat doesn't seemed to have aged too badly. Oy, those stupid bar top machines - I regret every time I have to work on them. Thank you, guys, for sharing another great adventure!! Btw, you go, peacock 😉😁👍

That boat used to be in Metropolis IL. I worked on it for a little while before it went to Burlington

The way you had to get on that boat is probably the reason it’s not really vandalised. Great tour thanks never been to a casino on dry land let alone on a boat 👍❤️

Yes you're correct. They actually have it locked really well also. A few people did it at night time but I wanted natural light for my photos.

Shake and bake keeps them up for days at a time. Notice the guy twitching as he said craps table......

The casino began as a riverboat casino on November 16, 1994 and moved onto land in 2007, once Iowa no longer required casinos to be on navigable waterways.

@@abandonedcentral I think being in the middle of nowhere dosent just help it but with it being inaccessible to anything people would be watching to see if anything is out of order and report it I think their should be working camers around the vessel as a extra deterrent

I am too as I've had many family members working here they the years. Google searches still incorrectly list it in Fort Madison, IA but I've not seen it there since 2009
