Growing up in the 70's, my Grandfather had one of these in Bavaria. He would take us out on the autobahn into Munich going flat out at 220KM. It was smooth as glass and fast as stink. A wonderful car, great restoration.

Modern BMW design has nothing compared to these timeless beauties.

To jest fuszerka na najwyższym poziomie. Szpachla na gołą blachę,nie usunięte stare powłoki lakiernicze, baranek na spierdolone podwozie. Nawet przednich blotników z pasem nie zdemontował. Współczuję temu co kupił tego ulepa za grube pieniądze.

It must be cheaper to do a £10,000 Part restoration every 5 yrs than to own a New Modern Plastic disposable car ? £40.00 per week ? = not even half a tank of fuel per week in overall restoration costs ! and you have a car holding value or rising , Not depreciating to nothing . £5,0000 Classic has more STREET CRED than £50,000 ! and gets more comments & Turns more heads ! To be noticed you need to spend £100,000 ! then they call you RICH / SNOB/ POSH/ ONE OF THE OTHERS / and they don't like you or your car ! FACT ! TRY DRIVING BOTH in the place on the same day ! SEE What response you get ? £5,000. Old BMW / Merc/ etc. OR NEW RangeRover £75,000 ? or new Jaguar. they won't even notice you ! they will not ask you about your car ! Turn up in a nice Original classic and everyone want to have a look and talk to you about it. even if you only paid £1,000 for it . TRY IT then say i'm wrong !

Get rid of front spoiler yellow lights and rear fin and fogs. Paint car silver. Car supposed to be sandblasted first. You supposed to get floor panels from bmw. End result does look good. Well done

Whenever you strip a car down like that. . . That's the perfect time to really really upgrade EVERYTHING! I would have insulated the heck out that ride and give it the ultimate sound proof matting. However, excellent job man 👍🏾💯✅

From the time that cars had soul!! When you saw the car. And you knew that was a beemer. Just don't like the front skirt. And the thing in the top. I don't know the name in english. It's not my first language. But... we like what we like. Good job. Love this car. A grey one took me to school in the 80's.

BMW should build again this type of coupe, the old 6 csi coupe and the E30 coupe too. :)

Amazing Job !! I can say from the photos that lot of the work has been conducted at home. Need not to mention the body and mechanical work. But I'm amazed by the work invested in the details and self made internal panels by cutting from wood and covering them with leather or fabric, the carpet,,,etc. Great job man, which you to enjoy your classic BMW E9.

Check e9 restoration by Total Schade, this guy is amazing.

Most people don't know about these models of BMW what a super job on restoring this rare e 9 .Here in Europe you can still find them every now and then great job

it is close to miracle that this car had so little corrosion after so many years outdoors, number plate shows B for Barcelona, maybe the mild and dry med. sea climate, neverthless, awesome job you did.

Reminds me of the (Deputy Commander of Maintenance) (DCM), Col. Morrison’s 735 CSI that he drove while I was stationed at SpangDahlem AB, Germany. I was there in 1984-1986. That car was fast just sitting in his parking spot. All I had was a Ford LTD ll, with a 5.0 LTR, v8. Wished I had that hot rod back.

Show more of the finished car Pls. From all sides & Angles . We have no idea how nice it may look ? You showed us all the rust & rot & Welding. How does the car look ? We like to see the finished item. 10% or 20% of the video time on the finished car in a nice setting, or driving on a road. Yes we know a lot of work went into it &time & money.
