I hate your funny tips. Too fast for me.
Odometer definitely rolled over. Floor mats don't look like that under 30k. And tbh it was in pretty rough shape
The carpet cleaning process of hanging them is by far the most satisfying of any process shown on KZread! Great job on the overall rejuvenation of this beautiful Porsche! 👍🏼👍🏼🙌🏼
Great find and video. The ATS cookie cutter wheels were introduced in 1972 alongside the Fuchs, so they should be period correct. But please take away the Turbo wing, that’s just a disgrace.
@WDDetailing

They took the wing off and put the original grille back on first thing!

Yeah, I'd be popping that whale tail for several reasons. If Mario had wanted to keep it (apparently not but...) I'd still want to get any crud underneath it out of there seeing as how something is seeping out.

Too bad the previous owner’s poor choice of adding a spoiler (and do it cheaply) appears to have led to rust.
@Camplou2

I had a 87 targa with the Turbo wider body and rear wing. It was one of fifteen made by Porsche that year for the US market, so like it or hate it, it was period correct. Not the greatest Porsche ever made and definitely not the quickest, but they did build it that way
@jerrysmith7166

It's not period correct, it's not racer. If it were on a later Carrera turbo it's be great
Exceptional find! Pretty clean original car. Those "Cookie Cutter" style wheels aren't nearly as popular as others, but they still fit the car very nicely.

Actually on the pre-Carrera models they are my favorite hands-down.
To bad you didn't remove the spoiler and clean under it 😐
These are Cookie Cutter Wheels, in Germany we call them "Hackmesser Felgen". Here they´r kinda rare, most early 911 models driving around in Germany are on Fuchs wheels.
Great job
I love that purple rust remover 😍, satisfying as always. Love the fun facts :)

Barn find with AMMO NYC, would be a dream video
Nice job 👍 guys
See that little circle in the bodywork in front of the rear arches? That is for taking out the torsion bar from the axle incase you want to replace it or lower the car. Seeing that little panel still being there probably means those quarters are original!
Great job as always fellas!! We will get her back on the road in no time!! ✊🏼

Don't know too much about cars but I truly love watching car detailing vids like this ❤🔥
If I won the lottery and I could have my dream car… hands down, 79’ Ford Bronco… I’ve always LOVED that year and body style!
Absolutely killed this one guys!

Thanks homie!
Its not low miles. That odometer was definitely rolled over at 100k miles. Just by looking at the condition of the outside of the car I could tell its 126K miles. Even the driver side seat had a rip in it and the driver side floor mat was worn down to the bare fibers. Not sure why they're acting like the interior is in pristine condition Lol. Tracking down the Title of the car would solve this mystery. But you can tell by just looking at the car its been driven way more than 26K miles.
Great video guys
I had exactly this 1973 model in blue metallic but with Fuchs wheels (which I prefer) and the shallower body colour (I think) headlight bezzels. Bought from Munich for £2000, it was plenty fast enough with a great engine note when wound up. Loved the targa roof (after I discovered it folded and fitted in the front) boot. Great car! Really think the whale tail looks silly, mine came with the standard engine hatch with a chrome ski rack. Much cooler!
1985 Porsche 911 Turbo would be my perfect barnfind
I love the Fun Facts!!

So satisfying to watch.
Amazing! What a car
Excellent work wd
As for the odometer it would kinda depend of it has a 5 digit or 6 digit odometer. if it has a 5 digit I would almost guarantee it has rolled over. The paint was in terrible shape. And if it was in an accident more than likely it would've been Porsche to fix it and would've color matched it. And although these cars are collectors now the ppl that bought them back then were usually executives and the drove them every day
A Datsun 240z would be my dream barn find.
The targa is an amazing find. I like the targa's the most, and admittedly '73 is looking pretty good 👍
@naowaratyooktanun2068
2 жыл бұрын
Targa's are the most fun but in the winter they are very cold and they leak in the rain, just a pain to drive daily. The heat in 911's was terrible when new, in an old car it is a suicide carbon monoxide machine.
Keep these types of videos coming

What a amazing job can’t wait to see the next big job you guys are the best of the best hands down next huge KZread channel 💪
Dream car: '67 911 Coupe! 🤩
NISSAN 280ZX , my dad had it, it was his first car and itts my dream to get him in that car one more time. He loved it
Targa top looks unused never removed. Nice. But seals on the interior front of targa top usually leak under pressure. I had 79 Targa, loved it.
Great work team. That's a lot of more old school Porsche 911-E Turbo Speedway. Called Team Clean ups store.
Ultimate car!! The one on this
Cool old Porsche!! Beautiful work on the detail job. Looks amazing
What a nice find! Good job on the detail! Love these cars.
My dream barn find would either be a Countach or a Barracuda, I'd be happy with either but the Coutach would be by far the favorite for me...also a c3 Corvette would be hella cool find
My ultimate barn find would be a 1973 Ferrari Daytona Spyder Convertible. 😎😎
Looks fantastic.
300sL gullwing allday!! Such a transformation tho! Good job guys!!
My ultimate barn find would be a 1969 Chevelle SS 396. I'd love to have one
Love old Porsche’s.
I LOVE Porsches THERE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE VEHICLES
Hi WD Detailing I love your channel and I love all of your car detailing videos and I love all of your car transformations:)
Great job 👏. Interior came up so well. As far as barn find I would love a 3rd gen Honda Prelude manual . I have always wanted one and they are rare now. When I was a kid it was my dream car and I love the shape and the pop up lights.
My dream barn find would be 72 Oldsmobile Tornado
Beautiful!!!
This paint suffered a lot while sitting, great guys!
Carpets and interior look like they’ve seen a lot more ‘combat hours’ than you’d see on a car with only 26k on the clock
Always nice to see someone bring back an old Porsche
Those seats are gorgeous! 😮
I bought over 2 dozen long hood 911's in the mid 2,000's when they were around $6k to $12k depending. All the cars from 1965 to 1969 had lots of rust. The 1970's to 1973.5 were better. All the cars were either regular 911's or 911T's, the E's and S's were hard to find and most of the E's and S's no longer had fuel injection, owners switched to carbs as setting up the FI was a real pain and if it was too rich gasoline got in the oil and spun the engine bearings, not good. I sold them all to Europe because they had laws that greatly reduced the import tax on any car that was over 25 years old and the Euro got up to over 1.70 to the dollar, they were shoving several in one container and shipping them to Rotterdam. VERY popular cars at the time. Now the most normal 911T like this bar find will be will over $30k if not more, too much for me.
Other than a 1970s Porsche 911, my ultimate barn find would be a ‘70s era Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. Loved those things!

Ultimate barn find for me would be a 1970 chevelle ss 454. Green with white stripes.
A car that i would love to find in a barn would be a 356A Speedster, 300SL or a F40 🔥
amazing job, beautiful car ... a real overhaul will do wonders to this beauty. the gaps in hood, door, etc is really bothering me. plus the insides could really use an upgrade I'm sure
Da war der Porsche noch ein Porsche! Sehr schön anzusehen! Danke!
Porshe 911 have been my dream car since I was 10.
Hi from belgium! Love the videos, especially the porsches. My dream car to find is a ferrari f40, would love to detail it and clean it!
My absolute dream barn find would be a Lancia Delta Integrale Evo2. I'd like to think that there's one waiting behind a farm house somewhere in Italy, but they're extremely rare so I highly doubt it :( Excellent job guys, congratulations! Let's hope this car will get the attention it deserves.

Y'all are MAGICIANS 😊
I'd love to find my 1988 Pontiac Firebird special edition. I loved that car. Hubby made me sell it when we had twins. should have sold the kids and keep the car.......
Fantastic job, this vehicle needs a full respray and bodywork rust treatment. Great video 👍🇬🇧
My ultimate DREAM CAR is this one! seriously!
My dream car would be a 240Z. My dad had one when I was little and I’ve loved them ever since.
Great job guys and greetings from the UK just subscribed my barn find would be a Ferrari Dino
Makes you wonder why such a low mileage car had such a “shitty” paint job.🤔
Purple Lamborghini Diablo🔥😍
Looking great.
Judging by the wear on the driver's floor mat, definitely going to say odometers been clocked over, don't get that much wear with only 25k miles.
The ultimate barn find would be a 1968 Nova SS.
The little fast fact pop up is such a fun addition! Always thinking of creative things on this channel
Porsche 924 carrera gt 😍 that's my dream barn find
My ultimate dream car to find in a barn would be a 1970 Dodge Charger R/T

oh yes! go MOPAR!
I'm thinking the odometer has rolled over. The owner had lots of fun with it, including the bumps and bruises and probably decided it wasn't worth much with 130k miles on it and parked it. Multiple attempts at restoring the paint may explain the unevenness of what's left of the paint.
Actually you are cleaning my ultimate Barnfinds ..73 Porsche 911
Abandoned barns and warehouses will give you the biggest surprise, but also let you learn the maintenance experience
Inconsistent paint thickness suggests that it was lashed up on the cheap at some point, probably in the 1990s when the late wheels and whale tail went on it to update it. My barn find? Hemi Charger even though it would be useless on the roads in Britain.
@brianlittle5905

good choice but I maybe a little prejudice as I am a die hard MOPAR lover as I have owned more than a dozen of them.

Nice find of the targa
Ultimate dream car find for me...96 Viper GTS blue/White stripes
If I stumbled upon an abandoned barn, and found my dream car inside...it would be a 1987 Buick GNX
Great JOB Boys my Respect comes from GERMANY, big HAND 4 this work
