Abandoned 1969 Mach 1 Mustang Fastback final assembly. Part 2
Finally assembly of this abandoned barn find 1969 Mach 1 Mustang. This car was candy apple red from the factory and has deluxe red interior and ac. Was born with a 351ci Windsor and a FMX auto with a 3.00 open carrier 9 inch ford out back. It’s now got a 302 ci sbf with a nice Erson camshaft and 66cc 289 Hi-po heads. A 600 cfm Holley carburetor and a c4 automatic. It’s got 4 corner disk brakes. Needs a lot of work but has really good bones. We are assembling the car so it can been seen in one piece. The car has 1970 front fenders and a lot of parts from cj pony parts.

Good to see another 1969 Mustang Sportsroof getting worked on. Makes me not feel alone when I work on mine 😁. I look forward to seeing more on in.

Thank you! It’s an awesome car I hope y’all will get to see more of it as well
Awesome build! 69 is my favorite year and Mach 1 is just the icing on the cake! We're in the process of restoring a 68 fastback. It was my buddies car since 1978. In the 80s and early 90s it was in beautiful condition but then it sat under a tarp outside for some time and started to rust away. He gave it to my son in 2019 instead of scrapping it. We stripped it down and its been living on the rotisserie until last month. So far we replaced most the the floors, both rocker panels, both quarter panels, inner and outer cowl, outer rear wheel tubs, torque box both sides, roof panel, both front frame rails and rear frame rail . I think we have an original piece of metal under the dash! 🤣 Just got it back from being blasted, primed and undercoated and it looks like a stang again. Doors and front fenders are also new metal. Still have way to go but suspension is making its way on. Jealous you have that Mach 1 moving on its own power 😀

No doubt looks a lot better than it did
I like the 69 with 70 fenders, I had a 69, sure miss that car! It’s been fun watching you and your dad work on putting it all together. Hope you plan on keeping this one a while, the sportsroof cars are getting harder to come by, and bring a premium price.

There ended up being a paper work issue, I’m hoping we get it back but kinda on hold at the moment. I love the car!

I hope it works out, it’s a cool Mach 1. Would be fun to see what you do with it. Mine had a built 351W, nice running car.

This one was born with a 351w but has the 302 now. I hope we get it back
Those fenders are for a 70. The side markers were on the valance on 69 and on the fender in 70.

Hey, I loved all of your videos on the 69 stang. My first car was a 70 coup. Are you planning on any more on that project? I loved you and your dad's work on it.

It was either a 289 or 302

I’m ready to start back in it! Unfortunately I broke my s10 so I’ve got to fix it next so I won’t be driving this big dually everyday.
