Hey dear Robb, RnK, now that was such an enjoyable video! Actually a legit classic Urbex video like many years before, when I started watching your urbex adventures, sometimes alone but also together with Josh and his pals. This was a once really beautiful house. In some still intact rooms there were nice antiques and beautiful furniture visible! It is such a pity, the decay makes this location eventually fall into total disrepair. - Very cool explore, which I enjoyed watching! Wishing you and your family all the best, peace and kindest blessings. Stay safe and kindest regards from Switzerland.

For future reference so you understand there is a difference between Antique and Vintage... Vintage refers to an item, (furnishings, Jewelry, artwork and other brickabrack) that is 50 to 100 years old. Antiques are more than 100 years old. Just an FYI in case you are in a older home with Antiques everywhere. The bedroom with the old vanity has mostly antiques in it. The bedroom furniture alone is most likely worth several thousand dollars to people who collect antique furniture. It's all in great shape.

Thanks for sharing! What a cool find. Love that RJ has a Brio Train Set, they really are so much fun in the early years. 14:28-14:30 Afghan!! It was such a staple on every bed when I was growing up. I recall everyone having to have one. LOL. The furniture was truly antique, that first one you shot was really interesting, wonder what the basin would have looked like. The trees have got to be ancient too, the height and how far out they stretch with multiple limbs are amazing. Too bad the house was left to rot, I bet it could be a great property if the trees come with it!

The reason the bathrooms were built off the side of the porch was because when the farmers came in from the fields in the evening they had to wash up for supper and so they didn't track dirt and mud therough the house they'd take off their shoes at the back door, go inside the bathroom and either shower or wash up and change into their evening clothes. My Grandparents were Tabacco farmers and grew all sorts of produce, nuts and berries and so their bathroom was located on the main floor right off of the kitchen. If we needed to use the bathroom we had to go through the kitchen to get to it or from the back porch. No shoes or dirty clothes were allowed in Grandma's clean house. Southern women pride themselves on a well kept home. The Master bedrooms were also located on the bottom floor as well. Usually right off of the bathroom opposite the Diningroom or livingroom. I would say that house qualifies as a Mansion. Anything built with more than 6000 sq. feet is classified as a mansion. That house has at least that much space with the formal livingroom, diningroom, kitchen, parlor, 1st floor bedroom and the second story bedrooms. This place is more than likely a family owned estate and is still in the family. It looks as if it's been abandoned at least 20+ years given the furnishings and amount of decay. I'm just guessing here, but the grandparents may have lived there until their deaths leaving the house and all it's contents to their children who may have stayed in it for a while or rented out the house until it needed far more repairs than they had money to invest in. Now it's just a tax write off because farmers can use these old houses as a building on the existing property ajacent to their farmlands. My Aunts and Uncles kept my grandparents house upkept for several decades before liquidating the assests and selling off the house and land. It's now used as a hunting lodge by the new owners and they have kept up the house and property very well. The house was built in 1912 by my Grandfather 2 years before he and my Grandmother were married. The house is now 112 years old. That house you toured looks about the same age.

@@RnKAllDay I appreciate that... I grew up half my life on farm in Virginia and all of my Mothers side of the family were all farmers. They grew Tabacco for Reynolds Tabacco for many a year. I just love it when people go and explore these old houses. They hold a lot of memories inside those walls. The families who once lived, worked and played together on that land is just facinating to me. If you ever need me to help you out identifying things and their uses when it comes to southern living I'd have no problem with that. Knowledge is power when it comes to these places. History should be perserved. And that house there has a whole lot of history I'm sure. You take care and it's real nice to see you exploring like this again. I have always enjoyed you and your wifes adventures and videos. It must be as much fun as it is interesting. God bless your little family.

There never was meant to be a wash basin on that vanity. It's simply low so that user can scoot up to the mirror. Basins are only used on the taller stands or cabinets. FYI: An item must be 100 yrs or older to be labeled aN ANTIQUE. Otherwise it's vintage if 10-20 yrs or just old. That wasn't a stool...it's a more modern children's bench. A stool is made for 1 person & a bench for multiple people..

Agree, however it could've been done by previous urban explorers. RnK ain't like that. I've seen abandoned buildings prior to the staging done by more well known urban explorers channels, that go on and say, "we're the first to explore" .
