My guess is that the home has not been lived in for about 1 1/2 to 2 years. The interior plants were all completely dead (looked like straw) and the floors had large dust balls from pollen build up. Otherwise, the interior had been kept clean and someone abruptly left with obvious plans of not abandoning the home. I say this based on the heavy sweater/coat being thrown over the top of a couch nearest the door. Most likely someone had been home, received a phone call and rushed out the door during the fall/winter a year or two prior and because of that phone call; they never came back. The outside decking is is need of water sealer and cleaning, etc. Looks like the decks have not been cared for for at least three winters. (Typical for the average home owner to treat their decks every other year) so the two years treatment cycle would have been up the winter prior. The outside plants in the flower pots are most likely perennials. If you pay close attention you can see the old, dried out plant life still in the pots along with the new green vegetation.

Ik! She was either gonna say it's a foreclosure or that the original owner died with no successor/beneficiary. In both cases, there's no one to pay the mortgage. In the case of the latter, the property usually goes back to the bank if there's a mortgage. If they owned it outright, it's sometimes donated to the city or a local church.

Honee Spamoni Your correct . It’s all about money 💵 . Foreclosures take a very long time and many reasons to keep postponing it as well . It can be complicated and the people that used to live there could be arrested , just setting foot back in there home . Even when you finally get your home paid in full - U can STILL lose it by falling behind in the property taxes . Nothing is ever truly yours .😢

Yup!! Maybe there is a reason he ignored her.....Something like, You are obviously trespassing due to the following reasons...... I wanted to know if that home is for sale. At one time someone had a very good life going on there.

crookerdog They're not trespassing unless they've either been told not to come there or unless the place is posted with trespassing signs. Why does no one know the law or anything about foreclosure &/or death of owner proceedings? You just look naive & foolish by ranting about things you don't know.

It's so cute! Look at all the plants left behind! Damn did you ever go back?
Gorgeous property, could see myself living there

Wow beautiful woodwork throughout entire house. If it's all up for foreclosure you would think the bank would clear it out and sell it. Banks ruined our country with abandoned houses everywhere. That's sad someone had to leave all of their stuff... Smh. Im digging this house alot. So much potential. The banks be sitting on houses like these. It's a real shame.

Catalina Beltran i love Tombstone. So historical. Have you been to any of the haunted places around there? I went to Boothill at night to look around since i was only there until morning. Nothing happened. Can you share some good places to check out if i get back there?
It is amazing!
I totally want to do this kind of thing!
This looks like one of those rental homes in Pigeon Forge Tn. They might need to check the basement or back yard to make sure there's no corpse left behind for someone to leave a nice home with nice furniture in it. Need some work but I would love a home like this with that countryside view.
Oh my diamond in the rough A shame it’s just sitting Bless you all

Would love have nice house beautiful
I have the feeling the owner or owners had a serious family emergency and probably try to keep the residence and somehow went to foreclosure. The way they left everything behind and the stamps on the door gave that message.
Great A-Frame!
So sad what alovely house there must be a good reason why someone (ir they have would leave such a stunning house
Nice one thanx
I don’t think this house was abandoned. Someone come there. Place is clean and they have plants everywhere. Might be a summer home

The plants are dead, the grounds are in disarray as well as the porches and ponds. You can tell no one is living there or visiting as a summer home. It’s definitely abandoned!

One thing I've learned from these videos; dreams die a hard cold death. So many dream homes...left alone. Sad...😔
Love the house and grounds! How can I buy it?
This house was too clean to be abandoned.

Lucia Wong And...you're a moron. There were weeds everywhere! So, just because someone with no family goes to the hospital for a heart attack & never comes home thus sending his home into foreclosure means the house is supposed to be messy, right? How does that make sense? Omg, too many fucking morons on here.

@@julieb3607 Looks like you are the biggest moron of them all with all that negativity you keep commenting to people that haven't even called your name. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion just like you are but you are the only one speaking down to others because people are not as smart as you claimed to be and I did say "claimed." If you don't have anything nice or positive to say, just move on to another video with negative people like yourself and make all of us happy. At least that would be one positive thing you can do!

Trespassing on someone else's property is NEVER nice or acceptable or appreciated -- it's a good way to get shot sometimes! NO excuses, not even for making these videos! (Perhaps this is a second (or even third home) for an individual and the caretaker has reneged on his job!) You never know, but that does NOT give you or anyone else the right to trespass!

If there is a guard or a caretaker in the house it is not abandoned...but this place is obviously left behind even some things are never bothered by the owner to take out with them si it is abandoned.

What an absolute shame that this was left to fall apart. Somewhat creepy but intriguing.
wow , the amazing things I could do with this house. Been almost 2 yrs since you've been there, wonder if you'd mind driving by one of these days and see if someone's moved in and fixed up? Would nice, Im curious LOL

Its still abandoned and its in worse shape as now people have entered the property and ransacked the insides, just more waste in the USA
Is this in NC? Looks like the Blue Ridge Mountains (sounds like em too lol) and I noticed you say Swannanoa at the end.
Have you ever thought of finding out about who had owned the home before because it looks like the home was loved very much and I hope someone could find out if they could buy the place to fix it up again. It's possible that the owners family have forgotten the place as well or don't even know it's there if it was like a great uncle or aunt they didn't know about.
The inside looks like house in tge film.." secret window" with Johnny Depp.
That home certainly is NOT abandoned! Maybe not occupied this moment but it isn’t abandoned.
It makes you wonder why someone would leave everything? Maybe ghosts?
You need to buy that and rebuild it wow
may you guys a can save up and buy it it would be a great vication spot a place to get away to let loose
What a beautiful property. You can see much love and hard work went into that home. Owner may have had to leave for health reasons- perhaps still alive in Nursing Facility or deceased and held up for legal ie No Will or Family fighting over it? Could be the Bank now owns it and they will allow a property to sit and dilapidate.
Too shaky filming, I was curious about that sit out with two chairs and a table, you were not even half interested. When you couldn't go inside and shoot, at least you would have justified shooting outside in detail.
At :41 he asks is it abandoned and she says it is abandoned and everything will be sold off so that means the property taxes weren't paid on the place and went into foreclosure.
Noi WAY this is a summer HOME... Better keep out... The owners SHOULD make a SIGN somewhere to let people know...
Swannanoa palace I worked on lot of those.
Those windows look a little clean for an abandoned house.
did you ever go back to try to get in and look around? Id be curious to see it again 2 years later to see if there are any changes?
Would love more info on this property
Fully furnished, makes you wonder why. something bad happened
Would love to own! Will not be long, till little monsters get in, and Destroy!!😞 Thanks!👍
There's a big difference between abandoned and empty.
What a beautiful place, I would definitely live there. However, the word 'Abandon', present tense, should be 'Abandoned', past tense. Thank you for this video.
man, that's quiet a find. nice one.
I don't think it's abandoned as a All the grass and the pots are taken care of.
I would love to have that
i would like to know where this house is -- would like to see if i can buy it
Hi from Sweden
I love it
Where is this place? Are some these places like this, for sale? Great fun ! Time back before my husband passed 3 years ago. He died young. But we did in Florida and texas. Called it treasure troveing. I know not a word. So much fun in adventures!!!😙
omg how. could they leave it all!
Is there anyway You could find out the history and why it really would be great to know more
It could have a major mold issue
I really appreciate you guys not going into the houses I think that's a little overstepping your bounds when people do that I really appreciate that you don't
The Windows craft...they were beutifull...PLEASE slow down on your panning..thank you😝😝
I would LOVE to OWN THIS!IF Your able to tell me how I can get this for very little money ,I need a home for my family I'd Love to have this!
I want to buy it. Has my name all over...
It's very Sad to me to See Someone's Time, Energy, Effort, Heart and Home Reposessed by a Bank! You can just imagine they are now wandering the States Homeless in a Camper...Broken in Spirit and Poverty! While the Banking Billionaires and Elitists Sit on Empty Houses...Playing with our Lives and this World like it's a Game of Monopoly!
so you're not doing anything wrong but you whisper and want to move your car so no one can see it?
I like all the plants who’s the owner
Lindo lugar
That was beautiful place at one time
I have seen this house in a movie sorry I don’t remember the name of the movie but I do believe it was in the late 1950s.
Where is this place It’s so Beautiful 😍
Oh my God I wish I knew where this house is located. Would love to purchase it if up for sale/auction.
Well I'm sure someone owns the place if it's locked.. you might want to move on. Beautiful place though.
