people dont i honestly think he's suffering the same curse? as clipse. They're dirty but the beats (in my opinion) holds them back. If clipse came out with dj premier or swizz instead of those star trak beats from pharrell, they would've poped even bigger. Look at grindin, that's the most "boom bap" sound pharell made and it's still one of their biggest contributions.

@@WinstonMcGregor-hx8ub but his beats are raw. I really dont know why he hasnt blown up yet. Easily the best lyricist out now, and probably one of the most intelligent too. I'm just glad he's in TDE (easily the best group of artists) so he's getting money and will always have that title.

Kendrick himself said that Ab is the lyrical genius of the group. He's a better wordsmith, Kendrick is a better story teller. Lyrical hiphop vs Poetic hiphop. Respect them both, let them both eat.

  • @tmb307

True, the thing is I don't think you can compare them. Here's why, Kendrick is a environment-rapper so to say, which is really inspiring if you ask me. While Ab-soul is more of a rapper who educates, things you mentioned like Pineal Gland. I would never heard about that shit if i didn't listen to his album lol but it's just in which mood you are if you are feeling like depressed or something Kendrick is the shit but if you somekind of lost and worried listen ab-soul, he'll refresh your mind....

@Brassking2008 Men of great genius have always been inexplicably attracted to the great mysteries of our world. Einstein was obsessively driven with trying to reconcile the laws of physics Likewise, Mr. Floka Flame's mind toils endlessly over the complexity of our world's mysteries. Is it so surprising then, that he is drawn to Geometry, perhaps the most mysterious of all mathematical disciplines? For instance, how can a triangle only have 3 corners while a rectangle has 4?

waka's not a lyrical storyteller like ab-soul but i think we can all agree, when you're fucked up and tryna get down, waka gets shit done ha its not who's a better rapper, its who appeals more their market ab-soul is good when you're stoned, or trying to listen for good rhyming progression or sick metaphors. waka is good when your trying to party or fist bump lol you wouldn't see waka at an open mic poetry jam And you wouldn't see ab at a rager getting people low haha
