U said sehwag, he went for duck in wc final 2011. Obviously if just because of knockouts matches in consider, Sachin should also be a choker by 2003 & 2011 wc finals.

I am not saying Jacques Kallis or ABD or Ronaldo will be forgotten, but they always will be devoid of that trophy, even Sachin with all the craze he garnered throughout the years had one wish to win a WC for his country. There is great respect in South Africa for many Indian cricketers too. When Sachin Tendulkar retired from international cricket, I flew from South Africa to see him play in India. I just loved seeing him play at Centurion and Newlands many times, so I saved money to see him play at the Wankhede. His battle with Allan Donald and later Dale Steyn was riveting. I miss all these great players, but I'm also excited to see the new breed coming through.

Actually I'm glad it wasn't Chinnaswamy, varna people would've questioned the patriotism of the crowd there arguing that the crowd was supporting him only because it's his IPL team's home ground. So it's difficult to win fans over, three have been numerous instances when opposition teams and fans have shown respect to the legend of games.
