In a weird way - the camera picked up the images better than my own eye did. In person I struggle to find it a comfortable viewing without turning up brightness - but while editing the camera favored it a smidge more than my own eyes in person.

@@EightSixMatt -- Yeah, I was chirping on aesthetics alone. I think Noctua fans are one of the most hideous things on this planet, but people say they're great at their jobs. Just not my cup of pancakes.

@@swervature Noctua, I like Noctua. I like some other fan brands better (both lesser known and more known) my default better brand is usually beQuiet!s stuff. If I wanna save a few bucks Thermalight - and if I want pretty, and simple - AsiaHorse...speaking of Noctua....you been watching the implosion drama?

How is the picture quality on this specifically in 4K and HDR10?

While you can play 4k video downscaled to it it's a 1080p FHD projector - and it does not support HDR. The image is in SDR. My b-roll footage is all HDR10 graded footage - while it looks good with the l500, it's not HDR that we would see on a projector that natively supports HDR.
