I certainly cannot wait to watch this music video. But because of my inability to see, I’m going to have to ask either my parents, or my little cousin Allison to watch it with me, so that they can tell me what’s going on in the music video. I’m glad I became a fan of his music nine months ago, even if it was a little unintentional from my part. It’s just that my sister was playing his song renegade before leaving to go to school nine months ago, and a few hours after she had left, I looked up renegade, and now I cannot get enough of Aaryan’s music! His music is like a little refuge for me. I always listen to it when I’m bored, sad, scared, or simply overwhelmed with stuff that goes on in the real world. His songs are like an escape for me. They help me calm down when I don’t feel well.

Ok, so I've seen several comments asking to "explain the video". I'm going to give my interpretation of this video,but I'm certain that there are many others. So the video begins with a blinking blue light connected to the main character's neck as his body is sitting in either unconscious or self induced sleep state. We see 3 men enter a house in search of something. Only the Aaryan's face is open, while his two companions are wearing masks. That in itself already sets up a narrative of who's being open and who's being secretive. Aaryan's character seems somewhat familiar with his surrounding as he knows where they need to go. His companions, on the other hand, have been acting cautious and suspicious from the start, like turning over a photo or moving uncertainly around the place. Interchangeably with their activity inside the house, we're shown the same 3 people in the real world sitting unconsciously somewhere in a warehouse while someone else is observing and watching over them. That means that the 3 people are connected to something and they're either in a virtual reality simulation or in someone's mind/subconsciousness. All three head upstairs only to find a woman there. Aaryan's character is non-violent, so he casually asks the women to be quiet, while his other associate has no problem with grabbing the woman aggressively and keeping her quiet as she tried to escape. Aaryan goes to the safe and opens it up with a pin, suggesting once again that he's more familiar with this house than the others. While he's opening the safe, the woman momentarily breaks free from her captor, trying to warn Aaryan not to proceed, but it's too late and the safe is now open. The masked man who was restraining the woman hits and seriously injures her, distracting Aaryan who goes to confront her assailant. While his attention is diverted, the other masked man takes out some documents from the safe, quickly reads them, and gives half of the documents to the other masked man. They both look at each other in agreement. They have exactly what they were after. While Aaryan has his back turned to them, they both press the blinking button on their necks and immediately fall to the ground. They have disconnected from the simulation, so their bodies in the simulation are now "dead". Aaryan is confused, he goes to his accomplices only to see them lying on the ground and he frantically starts pressing the button on his neck, which is no longer glowing, indicating that the connection has been severed. He looks over the dropped documents to see what his accomplices were after, becoming more frustrated. He leaves the second floor and stumbles downstairs to look for clues while continuously pressing the no longer glowing button on his neck. When downstairs, he discovers the picture frame (the one that was turned over by the masked man in the beginning). It's a photo of him. Another picture in the background is of him and the woman that they found upstairs. Unbeknownst to him, they entered into his mind/subconscious or possibly a simulation that was connected to his subconsciousness. This was his house and he helped the other men steal from himself. We're shown Aaryan still sitting in slumber in an abandoned warehouse with no-one around. The glowing connection button from his neck has been removed with only wires sticking out. In the last images in the video, we see Aaryan realizing that he was used and betrayed. He's now stuck. Whether it's a simulation or he's stuck in his own mind in his subconsciousness, he is trapped and can't get out. Even if they find his body outside, without the connection interface (the glowing button) he can't be pulled out from wherever place that he is in. If his body is not found in the outside, than without water and food it will shut down. Basically, he's left to die in his own house/mind without a hope of escape. His character, now fully aware of his predicament, resignes to his fate. That's my take on this video. The video pays homage to the movies like Inception. A nod to the sci-fi ideas of being connected to virtual reality or being connected to someone else's mind. What happens when you become trapped in your or another person's mind or within the simulation? What happens when your body is disconnected from your mind? There's a lot of creativity that went into making this video. They spun a whole story in a span of little more than 5 minutes. Feel free to post your own interpretation.
