Great job on this not easy song. He nailed it. Beautiful intonation. Kudos to the piano player - great arrangement.

Fabulous! I feel like a lot of people treat this song like a regular belter, but for me he really captures the essence of the message in the small voice he uses when he finally "makes a wish"... "...Somebody hold me too close". Like it sounds kind of silly but he needs to say it anyway because it's the truth.

I admire Aaron more every day. When he sings,he also is acting out each song, turning each into a tiny play.

Someone to hold you too close Someone to hurt you too deep Someone to sit in your chair And ruin your sleep Someone to need you too much Someone to know you too well Someone to pull you up short To put you through hell Someone you have to let in Someone whose feelings you spare Someone who, like it or not Will want you to share A little a lot Someone to crowd you with love Someone to force you to care Someone to make you come through Who'll always be there As frightened as you Of being alive Being alive Being alive Being alive Somebody hold me too close Somebody hurt me too deep Somebody sit in my chair And ruin my sleep And make me aware Of being alive Being alive Somebody need me too much Somebody know me too well Somebody pull me up short And put me through hell And give me support For being alive Make me alive Make me alive Make me confused Mock me with praise Let me be used Vary my days But alone Is alone Not alive Somebody crowd me with love Somebody force me to care Somebody let come through I'll always be there As frightened as you To help us survive Being alive Being alive Being alive

Takes skill and practice to sing technically like this. He can be thrilling with his vocal calisthenics. Also takes being fit like an athlete to keep it going. He appears to be a busy man. I'm new to alot of what Aaron has done And I know he's done plenty .All I know is that when he does some of Sondheim's music, he kills. He actually emotes.

He is an amazing performer. Just saw him in Maria and now Being Alive. He uses everything he has and more. In fact, he could try one of the easier operas like Die Fledermaus. Don't worry, your coach or teacher will teach you German pronunciation. It's easy to learn. Takes some memorization. Easier to sing in your own language of course. Very impressive. First became aware of him in Schmigadoon.
