Aaron has paid so much respect and given so much credit to Favre over the years. Awesome thing to see. My two favorite Quarterbacks of all time. Without question. They definitely have their differences, but also have some similarities and both have amazing arms. When Rodgers retires, or leaves Green Bay. They have a tall task of finding a guy to meet the high standard set by those before him.

@@JoeyWashingtonHVC It's honestly kind of crazy that after all of Favre's years in Green Bay and retiring and coming back, he left and were to the Jets. Now Rodgers is also looking to potentially be leaving Green Bay after all of his years with them, and also joining the Jets. Their careers having some wild similarities. At this time it seems Rodgers is sworn to secrecy on certain things and I'm not sure if the Jets move will actually pan out. Regardless, the writing has been on the wall for a couple years now with Rodgers, and it's the end of an era. Like Favre, Robert had a great run, reached the very top of the mountain, and nothing will ever take that away. Nothing lasts forever and all good things come to an end. Much like the analogy of the sun or any star, or even something like a campfire. Start with a spark, slowly grow and build, then peak and burn brightly in all their glory, but it can't last forever as inevitably begin to fade. Though the memory of how spectacular they were at their peak will live on. I have confidence that Green Bay will aquire a solid quarterback. They're a beloved franchise with a coveted position at quarterback, and top quarterbacks and bright prospects will be eager to want to play in Green Bay. It's a tall task to fill shoes of giants, but the same was said when Favre departed. Only time will tell.
