Last night, in the last 30 seconds of the game, Reese called for the ball underneath and flopped for free throws so she could get to 10 points. That was after bricking two layups to get two of her own rebounds. This is why we don't care about her double-double streak. She is literally one of the most egregious stat padders we've ever seen.

Not a Rodgers fan, but this take is kind of embarrassing. At least for once it’s mostly football related, but it still radiates with Colin’s weird personal vendetta against Rodgers. Why did everyone expect more winning from Rodgers? Because of how great he is on the football field. If he won his Super Bowl now instead of early on, it’d be a completely different narrative. Coaching has been average to good, defense has usually been bad, and special teams (except for Mason Crosby) has been an embarrassment. The comparisons to Harden, Melo, and McGrady are so odd. It’s like Colin forgot that Rodgers won a Super Bowl.

Packers used like 90% of their draft capital on defensive players and got absolutely obliterated by the better offenses every year. Packers relied too much on 2nd-class weapons just like they did with Favre. It works in the regular season with a strong QB, but then you struggle to win matchups consistently against the best defenses when you're always using 2nd/3rd/4th round receivers, middle round RB/TE's, and a hodge podge of drafted and undrafted players at OL. If the defense can't be a top unit despite being high picks at every position then what's the point.

I disagree with this whole premise though. Superbowls are team accomplishments. MVP's and 1st team all pros are a much better barometer for individual contributions and skill (and Aaron looks pretty good in that light). That's why I still view Manning as the GOAT because he has 5 MVP's and was simply the most dominant QB game in and game out in his prime. Brady had better teams but Manning was a better QB, it was really obvious when you watched them play.

Bird / Magic was mystical because it was Boston / Lakers. However, people forget that Reese / Clark also brings in a new tradition, Chicago and Indiana both have basketball history and royalty. When we think Chicago we think b-ball. When we think Indiana we think b-ball. Not NFL, not MLB. David Stern and Adam Silver has to be salivating.

As a Lifelong Detroit Lions fan I have to admit that QB Aaron Rodgers ruined a many Sunday dinner for me. The last few years there has been an obvious "fall off" mostly due to injury. ALL that said I do not believe that he deserves the disrespect that Colin is coughing up. However one may feel about Rodgers personal/off season issues I don't think it's fair to say he belongs at the kiddie table. That's just wrong. I don't know what Aaron Rodgers did to Colin Cowherd but ALL objectivity is gone.

I am a diehard vikings fan, the amount of times i’ve seen aaron play well in a playoff game but his defense gives up 30+ points and quite a few games where it was 40+ points is ridiculous. That 49ers game playoff game in 2021 he absolutely choked and that’s where the choking notion came from. But I can honestly say that almost every packer playoff loss I’ve seen from 2011-2021 was absolutely not on him and he got incredibly unlucky with special teams and defense selling the game for him
