I teared up as a Canadian, as this narrative is the struggle of every freedom loving patriot the world over. I was and still am a fan of staind, but I knew that the things that Aaron has and had to say transcends any genre of music. I feel angry and sad, and at the same time somewhat hopeful hearing this.

Now this is an amazing song and video and exactly how I feel about things in our country. I'm a person of color descended from LEGAL Asian immigrants and we've always believed in the American Dream and American values. I've lived a very all-American life in the South and wouldn't trade it for the world. Unfortunately this song is too politically incorrect to be played on the radio these days. But the radio will still play rap songs filled with the N word.

Wow, I am just hearing this song, sorry. Brings so much tears to my eyes. This is definitely not the country I was born into over 50 years ago. Where you could trust your neighbosr, and you even knew your neighbor's name, no one made fun of you for believing in God, you had real Thanksgiving with your friends and family every year, when you never had to worry about your kids wandering the streets of your small town cuz everyone watched out for everyone, where you attended your annual neighborhood clam and corn bakes at someone's back yard all summer, where you knew everyone's dog in the neighborhood and you didn't mind them running up to you, when everyone participated in Halloween, when we had Homecoming football games everyone attended, where we actually sang Christmas carols door-to-door to our neighbors on snowy evenings, and no one was embarrassed or called racist for showing the American flag proudly. Trump Makes America Great Again For many years America was in decline. Then Donald Trump decided it was time to find the swamp creatures who hid behind the fake news media that aligned with Democrats who constantly whined about collusion so he'd resign. President Trump designed a plan to make the Deep State understand he would deny the Globalists this land and then make America great again. His enemies declared he was racist and late night comedians did insist that he was now on their blacklist and Hollywood would then persist in accusing him but he dismissed all of their lies and then they were pissed. Impeachment was the next decision but he destroyed that with precision. The Department of Justice tried to prevail to bring him down quickly and put him in jail, and so Trump defeated the FBI and saved America for you and I. Mueller did his best to bring him down but the evidence could not be found. Democrats had their day in court but their assault on Trump fell short. Negotiating behind closed doors brought big business back to our shores. Jobs available for everyone, stock market going on a strong run. Making America great once again after we chose this non-politician.

Old Glory’s threads will only come undone when We The People stop fighting aside one another when we see wrong happening.

This song had my eyes leaking no matter how hard my pride and ego tried I couldn’t keep them in…. Amazing song Aaron! As a former military soldier who fought in the Gulf war i thank you from the bottom of my heart and also from those we lost , my friends, Thank you!! We fought for our own freedom but also for the freedom around the world! Lots of countries hate the USA but they love us when we step in and straighten their government out. We want peace, freedom, and kindness and love in the world. If you're not going to comply with that, eventually we will end your ways and give your country the freedom it deserves. See the United States military are willing to die for the worlds freedom, not just our own. Were a different breed. One last thing. Our flag is our countrys symbol of our freedom. It is to be flown everyday and if taken down, folded in a triangle and put in a special box. It is to NEVER touch the ground! I see that or it being burned and i go crazy! RESPECT our flag!
