I think they should dial back the frequency. Dosent seem that long ago we had the t20 wc in Australia 22. There was one in 21 as well. That’s 3 “world cups” since 2021, 4 if you include the ODI World Cup.

Best way for shortening the game for US audience without cutting it down to a T10 is simply switching bowling sides every (say) 5 overs instead of every over. Probably straight up cuts down 30 mins. Unfortunate that broadcasters would never allow it to be that way.

India lost the CWC23 final for various reasons, large portion of that was self induced. Indian players have issues in knockouts and not issues against the Aussies. Gabba was only 3 years back

Cricketing trends change very quickly. And who won or loss is a matter of record. Me saying 4 things about it doesn’t change anything

ICC t20 World cup is DEAD CACTUS in my opinion. ICC looking for new revenues but how many time you can host world cup in India? Its like you are killing Golden Goose. Players makes world cup success. unfortunately No One player in the world that makes people to say I want to watch that. Everyone into making money with new cricket leagues and forgot about Quality. Even though IPL 2024 was interesting , we dont want to see that many six by wimpy indians. For me make grass pitches but keep one side ground short. I mean dont do same in every season. Each IPL season needs to have a theme. A challenge.
