    On Judge's positioning, you can create a triangle with a 1 degree angle at home plate, and two sides of 322ft and 320ft. Using the law of cosines with side a = 322, side b = 320, and angle of 1 degree, I found that he has moved 5.95ft towards right field.

    Only half way through, but man the quality of these conversations has improved so much. Was worried at points throughout Bantering w Boone that ya'll might've felt the need to 'press' him with hard-ball questions, or just in general make the convo's more intense than they need to be, so you didn't seem soft or like you were glazing him or whatever. I remember an excellent and entertaining podcast just a month or two ago, Jake said he thought ya'll were going overboard with compliments and such I always understood that urge and hoped you wouldn't buy into it too much, and man, have you guys really found an excellent medium to deliver us an entertaining podcast where you express fans' opinions and ideas, while maintaining a light-hearted and casual vibe that's just such a great listen. No awkward confrontational vibe like it was on rare occasions last season. Just pure, insightful, quality. Hats off to you guys. JM4L!

  • @ativanob14
    @ativanob14Ай бұрын

    Seriously, you get across 1 run in extras and was fortunate to replace the guy at 2nd without getting an out. I understand volpe is a great hitter, but you have arguably 2 of the best hitters in the game right behind him. Had volpe bunted, soto or judge should be able to get the ball in the air, which soto did, and that would have been the game. I'm not asking them to bunt right away, but in that scenario with a run already across, it seems like a no brainer to me

  • @nicolasmorales4797
    @nicolasmorales4797Ай бұрын

    I agree with Boone on the bunt situation. The free 1st out opens up for the pitcher to walk Soto to set up the double play, and we tend to find ourselves falling into a lot of those.

    I can't quite understand why Boone over thinks relievers. We live in "the now" for wins. He thinks that with Holmes throwing 10-15 more pitches, he'll just explode. Sometimes he's gotta realize that the next day he may not be needed like the next two days where our bats got hot and didn't need relievers.
